I have seen gamestop certificates on ebay giving 90 dollars gift certificates for the mere price of 30 dollars. I am wondering if this actually works.

I saw the seller's feedback, and apparently, it was all positive. Surely enough, something shady is behind the scenes, but it seems that the certificates actually work. Probably stolen points.

I honestly do not think this is right, so I won't bother purchasing it, but I'm wondering how they charge so little for so much?

Hmmmm.... Its hard for me to give a definite answer on the subject, but if it were me i would stay away from it. Im not even sure if this is legal, for one thing. *im not certain here, but correct me if i am wrong. I also know laws vary based on where you live in the world, so feel free to state anything you know about the laws of your location.* but i can certainly agree there is something shady about what you speak of here. It seems a bit too good to be true, as far as i can see. I have a feeling this might be a scam of some sort, but again its difficult for me to come to a definite answer for you based on what youre telling me here.... If there is any kind of illegal activity behind this, i imagine the culprit wont last long doing this.

But i commend you for staying away from buying the cards. Offers like these quickly grab the attention of nearly everyone out there, almost always reeling them in. A lot of them though are only set up to allow hackers to get into the victim's CPU, often ending in disaster for the person. And here's the sad part: people who make this mistake dont even think about the potential danger they could get their computer in by falling right into a hacker's trap. To put all of it in a few words, hacker's use this sort of thing as bait so they can destroy others' computers.

Im not saying all of these offers are like that, im just letting you know what ive seen happen to people who go right towards these kind of things. Its a more common issue with kids who want to get quick and easy money to get whatever they're after.

But yes, i say its best to stay away from the offer for your own benefit..... Even if consumer reports are mostly positive, its best to be careful, especially with something suspicious like this.

Sephie is completely right. Sometimes scam sites do that to get your credit card info and give you viruses on your Laptop/Device! It's horrible >.< They also get robots to create accounts and leave good reviews, making it seem 'legit'. Stay away from them.
