Is your Wii vertical or horizontal?

Mine used to be horizontal, and I had it that way since launch, but now I've put it vertically.

When I had a Wii we kept it vertical as well. When I buy my PS4 i'll have put my PS3 in a vertical position as well.

I always kept it horizontal. Apparently that was better for the console.

My Wii is usually standing up. The only times that I'll have it laying down on its side are when I don't have a good place to stand it up, usually when I'm somewhere else and it's on the floor where someone can potentially knock it over.

Mine is vertical......although as many times as it's been knocked over by people, I should probably have it lying flat.

I always had mine horizontal because it wouldn't fit on my shelf otherwise. It also seemed more stable that way - every vertical console makes me paranoid that I'm going to knock it over.

For my Wii I put it up Vertically from launch till about 2010-2011, then I just layed it down flat since it took up less room in my cabinet. With the Wii U I have had it horizontal and I think I'll keep it that way, it looks better in my opinion.

I had my stands but decided to keep my Wii U horizontal, but then I ended up losing the stands after so now I simply can not put it upright, I still have that weird stand for my Wii though but that's horizontal too.

Yes I know that this thread is about the Wii but it's under the Wii U Discussions Megathread or whatever it's called, so shouldn't it be about the Wii U? Whatever didn't mean to complain or anything.

I have mine standing up vertically.

Vertical. It's probably better that way because it takes less space but since the GC controller port is on the top I'm afraid the Wii might fall over (unless I'm using the Wavebird).

I have one of the newer Wii's that are meant to be kept Horizontally. It would not fit on my TV rack if it would stand vertically.
It was horrible on Nintendo's part to remove GameCube game support on the newer Wii's. They do not have that panel for Gamecube controllers

My Wii was always vertical, it could have fit anywhere! If I get a Wii U, I will most likely keep it vertical as well.
