Gen 6 issue on GTS in x and y with phione

i have noticed that there are some very crazy offers with the pokemon phione on thebGTS in pokemon x and y. nearly EVERYONE is asking for legendaries for them. Sure, it's rare to a certain degree, but not THAT rare. And sure, it's banned at battle facilities, but that doesn't mean it's worth a legendary, especially since it's breedable.

This would be one thing if they all had perfect IVs, but something tells me that 98% of them don't. Obviously this isn't as bad as the magikarp issue i explained previously, but it's still not worth it. In fact, the issue is so widespread, that i can't get my phiones traded for a magikarp! i wait days, and guess what? it's still there, what do you know!

talk about crazy! this is just off the wall crazy! so bad that i couldn't trade it for something as common as a magikarp. not cool, not in the least...
 
:O OMG That is literally stupid since nobody is going to trade legendaries just for a breedable Pokemon that you can get for breeding Manaphy! I would trade my Groundon for a Manaphy though. Welp. I got a Machoke that evolved into a Machamp for a Zigzaggoon. I was looking for a Machoke for a Machoke but whatever XD
 
i know, right? it's not exactly fair, either. all you have to do to find such offers is search for phione on the gts, and bam--you'll find exactly what i explained above. crazy offers. once again, i don't see a point in trading a legendary for a pokemon that can be more easily obtained.
 
Normally people just ask for legends even for a mightyena, I just wanted a mightyena for my pokedex. Tho on the other hand someone asked for a primeape for a shiny mightyena
 
I'm with all of you here. I've seen people auctioning off their level one magikarps for legendaries that can't even be traded via the GTS (Mew, Arceus, Deoxys). I'm not sure if they're unaware that these Pokémon can't be traded on the GTS, but either way, they should be making more reasonable requests. I wish there was a filter that prevented people from asking for Pokémon that can't be obtained via the GTS. It wouldn't solve everything, of course, but at least it would eliminate a decent portion of the spam.

yeah, good point... i can't tell you how many people i see giving away whatever and asking for event pokemon. and i found out that those pokemon are non-transferable by searching for them on the gts. some i already knew weren't. these are legendaries that you can only get by hacking.

It would make the GTS somewhat useful. I agree with you. What was Nintendo thinking? They should've left the pokemon out from the choices. Then the GTS would be useful, and people wouldn't be asking for legendaries all the time. There might be less trades, but at least they would be fair, Not like those lies (5IV phione 4 Diancie) You a LIAH:vamp:

it's like impossible to even do that... or, at least extremely difficult. i can perfect breed starters, but even that takes time. but phione? sorry... no can do. i don't even think it's virtually possible...
 
I hate the GTS, and I agree with all of you. I remember going there for the first time and saw outrageous requests.

What I don't get is why ask for the legendary Pokémon you're giving away? Just keep it.

I mean seriously, honestly we all have better luck getting the other Pokémon in Wonder Trade than the GTS.
