ITS NOT THE NINTENDO 3DDS

My friends in my school keep on calling the nintendo 3ds the nintendo 3dds does anyone else have this problem I mean it is soooo annoying.
 
Lol so they call it a 3d Ds ?! Lol that sounds really not like the 3ds :hilarious: . Barely anyone in my school has a 3ds and yet thay can say it correctly . But I guess your friends just got used to saying it :p

For example my friends and classmates always say " Bowser" as in the Mario game for "Browser" like to connect to the internet like Chrome and Firefox

I guess everyone has their sayings ;)

I had never heard anyone say it like that. That's hilarious. :hilarious: Over here a lot of people (including myself) just call it a DS to keep things short and sweet. (Yes, I know it's stupid.)

barely anyone has a 3ds at my school either but I guess its not supposed to be a pun
 
Yes I know thw name 3d ds is annoying. Its Three Dimesional dual Screen but still the "d" is 1 and not 2. My friend also called it 3dds and I know how annoying it is. 3dds sounds so lame and dumb :/ annoying it is
 
Most of them don't know what a 3DS is, they're all Xbox players. :wtf:
I have to explain to them.

I said that at first too but that's because I misread it's name. then when I heard an add which called it 3ds I felt very stupid.
 
That's weird it reminds me of how my parents call Smash Brothers "Super Mario Smash Brothers" but I haven't heard anyone call the 3Ds any weird like that.
 
I don't have this problem, mostly because everyone I know has a 3DS or Wii U and know what they're called and have a bunch of games for them. They either call it a 3DS or a DS, which both work technically because we get what they mean by it.

I don't really have any problems with that, most likely due to the fact that people who bring in the 3DS are mostly nintendo nerds. Nobody I know seems to call it the 3D DS, the 3DS seems a lot more of a fluent name personally.

Ugh, the more people say they never meet someone saying it wrong the more stupid I feel. :facepalm: I was so used to saying "DS" (DS Lite/DSi/DSi XL/etc.) as a word on it's own that it took me a while to figure out it was not, in fact a "3D DS" but a "3DS". It does sound a whole lot better. :p But please, someone, tell me I'm not the only one...

The 3D Ds? That sounds really weird and I would have never thought that ever if not for this lol I don't get have you confused 3DS with 3D Ds it doesn't sound right at all. That mistake isn't as bad as some I have heard xP Feel lucky xD

Well 3DDS makes doesn't hear good but you can see what about the 3DS is. But yeah. Back in the day my friend had these cheat cards and they cheated then someone said "Oh my god don't cheat. You can get a Virus on your DS" and then everyone died. Just kidding the whole school heard of that Virus and then everybody died. Just kidding again. I mean if someone says 3DDS then everyone says it like this. Somebody did make up this 3DDS.

I hope you understand what i want to say. xD

Well, it is a 3 dimensional double screen haha. I've never had this problem happen to me, but I believe this type of problem is more prevalent with the N3DS, as some people may call is the New N3DS lol. Going back to your friends, don't correct them about it, especially if they keep repeating its name incorrectly even after correcting them. I'm guessing none of your friends at school actually own a 3DS. :p

Hey kids! Its the New New 3DS! Even newer than the new one!!! Great xD I wish i had people in my school playing any Nintendo game. Everyone plays these X Bone and PS4 games and im the only Nintendo Fan. (BTW i live in germany)

So yeah buy the New New 3DS. But if you wait a little bit longer then you can get the New New New Nintendo N3DDS XXL :D

When i got my 3ds i called it the 3d ds because that how i thought it was pronounced XD But after a month i figured out that you pronounce it like 3ds...I should be ashamed of myself XD

Had that problem once, but quickly shut them up by correcting them :vamp:

Lol, the only time I had heard somebody call it that is a few months after it had just been announced at E3 2010. And it happened only once. My advice is to keep on referring to it as a 3ds, and do it so much that it gets stuck in your friend's head(s).
