Is it true that jigglypuff is the floatable ist character in smash yes thats true so what really is the point of playing her she is weak, slow, her attacks are bad and worst of all her float so she gets knocked of easy so really why would anyone use her i mean like other characters are like that two but at least that they have other things to make up for it, like kirby is both fast and strong and has some good attacks and is fat

Jiggly is slow and has bad smash attacks on the ground. Her grab is OK so you can use it to combo with aerials attacks. Using the aerials is the key to success. You can use a few ground attacks but that's it. She's good at edge guarding too. And you can't forgot how her up b can ledge grab meaning that when she uses it, she can grab the ledge. Once the opponent sleeps, that's your opportunity to use rest to finish the character. Sure, jiggly is light so breaking her shield an instant KO unless this is a custom stage you play on. Just take advantage of her aerials and everything will be fine.

Hungrybox disapproves.

Jigglypuff isn't as bad as you think she is. Her floatyness let's her play the off stage/edge guard game really hard. It's even possible to push opponents off the stage and even push them far away to kill them at the side of the map and still have enough floats to recover. Another thing about jigglypuff is that her Fair, Nair, and Bair are all great aerials if you want to edge guard. Plus landing rest isn't that hard to do, as long as your opponent is over 50% you can pretty much guarantee that it'll kill.

I still hope Kirby can get Jigg's air mobility tbh

Puff is a great character but compared to others Puff is just hard to master, especially when trying to overcome hard counters like say Sonic with multi-hitting attacks that make Puff flinch. Puff lacks range but makes up for it with the simplicity of it's moves. Think of Puff as a character like Mewtwo but more balanced in the neutral. Both are offensive powerhouses in the air but Puff depends on breaking the opponents shield for an advantage much like is if for the opponent to break Puff's shield. In short Puff is light but really strong because this character fully depends on spacing and mindgames as well as properly placed kill moves which makes this character very unique. Her recovery is decent and you just have to play Puff as the character is and not abuse special moves unless you really need them in certain situations. This character is very basic and easy to understand if you've practiced with the character and because of that Jigglypuff is placed fairly high in Melee. Sing is also a great combo starter and it's throws can kill too but are risky because of Jigglypuff's range. If anything you should practice against Little Mac to fully take advantage of Jigglypuff's strengths and weaknesses.
