Banette has a great attack stat, but everything else is not really reliable. I find Mega Banette more useful because thanks to Prankster it can be a great Pokemon to do Will-O-Wisp and Destiny Bond. Another thing you can do is have it use Knock off, since it's massive attack stat lets it benefit so much from tjis move, and even knocks off the item of the opposing pokemon.
