Just Found Old Console

I recently went through a move and I thought I sold most of my old consoles before the move. I had a GameCube and a N64 and I thought they both went with a moving sale.

Well, today I was cleaning some things out and I found both consoles with all the games I had back years ago. I actually went to plug it in and everything works and I played for a few. It's crazy how far games have come in the years, comparing something like the PC or the PS4 to old consoles is insane.

Anyone ever find an old console and just end up messing around with it? I play mostly modern things today but it defiantly brought back some memories.

I still play old consoles! The ones you found aren't even considered old to me :p as o have an nes, SNES, Atari and Sega genesis that still work to this day! I enjoy old school video games rather than the new modern ones

I don't play many retro games since I don't have many retro consoles. I think the oldest console I have is a PS2, but I only have a bunch of outdated sports games for it. It's still a really fun console to play, especially with friends (2-Player NBA2K is a lot of fun).

I still like playing the Harry Potter : Quiddietch World Cup for the GameCube. And, yes, I still play it on the GameCube. I get to feeling nostalgic sometime and start playing some of the old school games.

My SNES is still in good condition, although I do not have my games for it. It certainly does have a huge difference in Frame rate/graphics. The only problem I have with modern games, is that they have declined in difficulty and improved in graphics. (Dark Souls 2 doesn't count)
I remember playing on my N64 the first time, it was so overwhelming to see so huge landscapes in a 3D world.

That's always fun when you find your old stuff that you thought you got rid of! Same thing goes for consoles! That's great it still works! That means you should keep it. Keep it for a long time to come because in the future it could be worth a lot of money. Who knows.

Oh sure. Sometimes the Sega Genesis or the N64 every once in a year (although I didn't get them when they were new so it's not so much nostalgia as it is just playing a game again like say a VC title). The arcade and G&W titles are way different from the things we have today in terms of innovation and size (like being able to play arcade titles on a GBA).

I pulled out my old PS2 a while back and played Resident Evil: Code Veronica. I'm surprised all the wires were still with it and that game. o.o

felt weird playing an old console, but it was awesome.

I never stopped playing my gameboy and I sometimes still buy some new games for it xD it has so many good games that I still haven't played

I have actually. When I was at my grandparents house I wound an old n64 in their basement. It was from when my mom was a kid. She never really played on it, but when I found it I got it hooked up to a tv and started playing all the old games they had.

Thays quite cool...I'd love to just "find" a console:(, but no luck. The oldest i have ever owned was the game boy colour, and the oldest i have played on is a game cube it was at my uncle's old house and it was his. He let me and @Oshawotron16 play on it for ages, it was fun. We played mario kart double dash and whatever the instalment of mario party was at the time.

That reminds me if the time I found Hey You Pikachu. I couldn't help but play it and I noticed the grand difference between voice recognition, I remember speaking into the mic to Pikachu and he ignored me :sorry: but with technology these days you can speak and the character, or AI (SIRI, Dragon hands free keyboad) will understand you.
