If you remember earlier, I made a thread about good Kirby Copy Abilities in smash 4 around April. 5 DLC characters have been added since then so I felt it would be nice to go over them.
So to start off we have Mewtwo Kirby!
As Mewtwo Kirby, Kirby gets the move Shadow Ball. This move is pretty good for Kirby, it helps with the range issue that he suffers against characters with heavy projectile usage. Be wary that if you're 1v1'ing a Mewtwo, they might be able to reflect the Shadow Ball you shoot at them with Confusion, so make sure you trap them good enough so you can shoot off the Shadow Ball safely.
Would I use it: YES!
Next we look at Lucas Kirby!
As Lucas Kirby, Kirby learns a new PSI move called PK Freeze. PK Freeze is a good range coveringmove although it keeps Kirby stuck in place until the attack ends. I find it good for edge guarding but it doesn't seem to be very useful.
Would I use it: Not really :/
Now we look at Roy Kirby!
As Roy Kirby, Kirby gets a sword which he uses for the move Flare Blade. This move can be charged up, and when fully charged it can do a lot of damage and has amazing knockback. This move does 10% damage to Kirby if overcharged. This move is a good way to beat out counters and air dodges. I like using this move off stage to get an early kill, the power of Flare Blade is stronger at the base much like all of Roy's other moves.
Would I use it: YES!
And last but not least, Ryu Kirby!
With Ryu Kirby, you get the move Hadouken. This is another good move that helps with Kirby's range issue, plus it can lock the opponent in place for combos. You can also use the special input for Hadouken even when Kirby uses it, so it's definitely worth trying out. This one is my most favorite of all the DLC Copy Abilities.
Would I use it: Of Course
That about covers it for this post. I'll probably make another part to this if another DLC character is announced (which is bound to happen). Until then, POYO!
