Kirby Triple Deluxe is coming to eShop, and the suggested retail price showed for pre-order was mostly $34.99.

Now, I asked Nintendo Support because I wanted to know the price it will be on eShop. This is my answer:

Hello,

Thank you for having taken the time to contact us about this. It's great to hear that you're interested in learning more about Kirby: Triple Deluxe. While I would like to be able to answer your question, there have been no announcements regarding the cost of this title in the Nintendo eShop.

Please note that this game is estimated to be released on May 2, 2014. For more information on Kirby: Triple Deluxe, I've included a link to our website below:

Thank you again for writing.

Sincerely,
Brian Davis
Nintendo of America Inc.

So I have three theories:
- The game will cost $39.99 *Bad End*
- The game will cost $34.99 *Normal End*
- The game will be $5 cheaper like some other Nintendo digital version games and it will cost $29.99 *Good End*

Now, what do you think?

For some reason, I have a gut feeling that it will be full $39.99, It's always better for it to be cheaper, but I doubt they will drop the price, which sucks. Them at Nintendo Support, always are clueless, but it's given for them to hide the price, if it's not even announced on the site. I'll surely put this game to second on my waiting list (after Mario Kart 7) if it's $29.99 though.

If the game is $39.99, unless there's a promotion on Club Nintendo for a free game like 3D Classics: Kirby Adventure, I will buy Proffesor Layton Azran Legacy instead...

Oh? I'll still buy this game, I'm a huge Kirby fan, wouldn't want to miss out on this. It seems like the only side-scrolling platform game that I'm excited to play.

I know that would be just $5, but I would be offended if they offer the digital version more expensive than the physical one.

Woah, if they do that, it would be horrible, I still have no clue why digital version of games are more expensive than the retail though.

Price has been confirmed: It will be $34.99

Well, Yoshi's New Island is at 34.99$, so why Kirby would of been more expensive? :)

Some games are cheaper. Like Animal Crossing (don't remember if it was digital only), Donkey Kong Country 3D...

34.99 is the highest prizce i can accept for this game. Pwew. But they only sell 29.99 on amazon, or is that only for pre-order?(mario golf world tour is also 29.99) . Wait! 29.96now!

Amazon made an offer on that game, the original preorder is 34,99.

Plus I would pay $40 for this game if that was it's original price. This game is really long, also download play. It worth the price.

Same, I would have pay the full $40 price for it, because I think it's worth every penny, you can never go wrong with a Kirby game, but it's always nice to have them cheaper, now I'll definitely choose this game over Yoshi's New Island without a doubt.

Question: Someone know the price of the European version?

Nope, have no idea, I don't think they have announced it as yet since Kirby Triple Deluxe will be releasing on May 16th in Europe, whereas the NA version is coming on May 2. I'm guessing you just have to convert the price to get a general idea.

Actually it would be 60% chance of 35 euros, 40% of 40 euros

$34.99 seems to be a pretty popular price point for 3DS games lately. I was shocked ACNL was only $34.99.

This is one of those games I'll wait to get for when another eShop card sale happens somewhere.
