Spin Off Lack of Evolution in PMD games?

This discussion excludes the upcoming game in the series: Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. :p

Were you ever bothered that you, your partner and other team members didn't get to evolve? leveling up so much but you can only get so strong. I do think the games in the series would've been a little better. :3

Thoughts? :playful:
 
you can evolve. it's just a post-game thing. besides it added post-game story because of it.
 
Its like BacklogGamer said we do evolve it's just later on in the game. I think that Mystery Dungeon is focusing more on friendships and bonds and that as your growing (leveling up) the closer you and your partner become.

But I don't mind not evolving, actually when the opportunity came I didn't want to evolve.
 
It really didn't bother me much that you can't evolve during the main play of a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game :p Personally, I never really wanted my main character or partner to evolve anyways :p There's not much difference in strength in my opinion :playful:

And actually in PMD: Gates, your recruited Pokemons evolve at their respective levels :p
So even in the new Super Mystery Dungeon, I'd like it to stay that way :p
