SSB for 3DS Lag issues

Why does Sm4sh 3ds always lag even in for glory 1v1, is it my internet connection or the servers are always like this? If I remember correctly, Brawl also had similar issues with the lag in the online, does this happen to any of you?

Check your connection to your router, there could be some obstructions between you and the signal. If not, check the cables on the modem, are they plugged in good? If not, then the service provider could be having issues.

I'm in the same room as the router at less than 3 metres from it

Huh, check the cables on the router, if not, then do you remember getting a error code for a connection issue?

It is just lag, I don't get any error messages

It happens a lot. @paceygym posted some useful tips here which helps with lag issues, but still, my match with @D4rkDragon today was more of a slideshow with intermittent slow motion.
