Hi homo sapiens, I'm new to The Legend of Zelda series and only have the very first one. What do you reccomend? I don't have a wii u so virtual console titles will have to be 3ds excusive (because they no longer sell wii points). Thanks!:wtf:

You should get Ocarina of Time 3D and wait for Majora's Mask 3D.

Yeah, I was thinking those two for 3D. Not very wealthy though I was thinking of only getting MM because I heard a little about the plot and setting and think its cool. Which do you reccomend though?

Cook thank you. I will get that game. Should I get Link's Awakening DX too from VC?

Yes.

If you're able to get Minish cap, that would be a good choice. It was a great title for the GBA. Lots of dungeons to get through and challenging bosses. The story itself is very interesting and engaging. I think you'd really enjoy that game. ^.^

every loz game except phantom hourglass and spirit tracks, those two game stink.

Just saying, that's an opinion... I have never played Phantom Hourglass (I want to, but don't have it) and Spirit Tracks.. I completed it 100% and actually loved it.
Just because you think they stink, doesn't mean that NotEspio won't like it as well.

Phantom Hourglass was a very good DS and LoZ game in my opinion. Although this game is pretty old, this is a game that is worth every penny of yours.

The game is captivating, amusing, and had a nice adventurous gameplay. It has an amazing blend of touch-screen combat and great gameplay, with some nice puzzles, too.

Although this game still may have its flaws, this game is entertaining, and has a nice adventure with it. This game has received many positive reviews, too, so go check them out if you doubt my opinions, or want to see if this game really is worth your time.

Btw, A Link Between Worlds is a nice 3DS Zelda game. If you don't want the Phantom Hourglass, I'm sure that this amazing adventure in A Link Between Worlds will entertain you. I myself haven't tried the game out, but I hear that this game was very good.

Phantom Hourglass is great in my opinion, but it's hard to find nowadays because it is quite old. It is extremely fun though, and it is worth the money! :)
Ocarina of Time 3D is well worth the money as well. It is a complete re-mastery of an epic N64 Classic, which is just as amazing now, as it was back then. Just amazing. :D
Majora's Mask 3D is going to be stunning, so that would be a good game to get, if you are willing to wait for it to come out in a year! :p

Hope I helped a bit. :)

I quite enjoyed both Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks (Linebeck anyone?). Both were extremely fun games with a lighter story than the others and a pretty innovative use of both screens.

Ocarina of Time 3D is an excellent port of the game, and is plain and simple and excellent game which I highly recommend gettnig. It's not called the greatest game of all time for nothing, and in the same spirit Majora's Mask will also probably be pretty good.

I myself have not played Link Between Worlds but it's universally loved, I haven't seen or read a single bad thing about it.

Or you could get some of the older games. Minish Cap and the Oracles games are excellent and live up pretty well considering their age. These games are also quite a bit cheaper but are pretty lengthy.

Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. Both are really good games and some of the bosses are hard. There are some points in both games where you will need both screens. Another recommendation would be Minish cap (good 'ol Elzo is there to treat you like a child) Besides on what I just said, this game is loaded with challenging bosses and puzzles. Love the items they have in there. I am pretty sure it will keep you busy for a good amount of time. Hope I helped.

In my personal opinion the best Legend of Zelda game is Ocarina of Time because it was a revolutionary game that set a standard for all fantasy games to come that not many have surpassed. It was a very long and entertaining game that even after you beat it, it offered new dungeons and a reversed map to keep you guessing.
