Cosmog isn't Moon exclusive, so you probably should take it off the list.
 
My friend actually found Midday Lycanroc (Rockruff's evolution) in moon. She said she went to a cave near the professor's house. Hope this helps, I haven't tried finding yet.
I'm sure it would also work for Midnight in Sun.
 
Yeah, you can find both Midday and Midnight in both versions by going to a secret location right next to the final trial. To go to this secret area, go next to a little pile of roots next to the three trainers standing outside the final trial location on Poni Island. There should be a pop- up that says "A". push "A" and then you will go to the secret area. Don't be discouraged if you can't find one after awhile, its encounter rate is not very high. However, it's not very low either. Good luck!
