most people just use the password stuff. it's not exactly the best for defense, but 30 magatt per part is hard to pass up.

You might want to go to the password person to get the wizard gear like Backlog mentioned in his post up above. Most of them add 30+ magic attack - http://fantasy-life.wikia.com/wiki/Passwords

i do plan on getting the dlc soon, and I've already got the mysterious set which is pretty helpful
