Life's too short...

What's the shortest anime you watched? (Besides those ones that are only 1 shots ) I have seen many that actually only lasts 6 episodes! I thought they usually lasts longer as I'm used to series (Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon ect.) lasting years instead of a month. What's the shortest one you've seen?

There's an anime OVA called Otaku no Video that's only 2 episodes long, probably the shortest anime I've seen that isn't a short film.

I probably shoulda said a anime series: OVAs are usually suppose to be a one time thing right?
Some series have OVAs for fan service, but the actual series goes for years!

Modern OVAs are usually tie ins to other anime series but back in the 80's/90's, anything original that wasn't a manga adaptation or made purely to sell merchandise was usually relegated to being an OVA, which is basically direct to VHS/DVD

Mine would have to be wolf children. I think that's what it's called but I'm not sure. It's 3 episodes in a movie format. About 1.5 hour long each.

3 episodes? I thought it was a entire series, but it was just a movie?
I guess most anime: from what I heard so far, would be a special/OVA/Movie
if it's under 10 episodes. (I love how this is literary 1 more episode from the previous comment)

Pendulum, it's an anime short about life and time. It's basically perfect.

Oh... I didn't mean THAT short! Lol! I meant over a course of episodes: This actually shows almost EVERY anime
in a few minutes. (The pendulum actually scared me when they got old, I was really afraid of not seeing one them when it came back on them.)
