I kinda mentioned this in my other post in the Zelda forums, but I feel that LBW is overshadowed by the other games in the franchise. I can see how people wouldn't really like it because the game play takes a lot from Link to the Past, but frankly that's how I was drew to it. It was familiar enough that I was able to pick up a Zelda game after years of not playing one, yet it also had a huge unique gameplay I found entertaining and challenging. Plus this is the first Zelda title I fully completed and it's still fresh on my mind.

So as the title says: what do you all think of LBW?

I think that this game is a really good Zelda game that really is not too much hard or easy and I liked that they changed the graphics into really amazing things . Iv'e played it and I really enjoyed the story and everything . The only thing that I really didn't like about it was that the dungeons were a bit too easy . not as hard as its old game :/

In my personal opinion, it was a great re-make of a link to the past. with a new story to make it more flavorful for today's audience. the only part of the game i disliked was being able to rent/buy every item pretty much from the start of the dark world, which made the game feel to easy. and not having to go and actually find the item. other than that its an amazing sequel to Link to the Past.

Same, though there were a few points in the dungeons I was stuck but it really wasn't super hard. Like it was challenging but not too challenging. Hero mode does up the aunties though if you have tried that ^.^

I have to say though , the Ice Ruins was the hardest for me . It basically has like 8 floors and your just there wondering where to go . I was really confused at my first try :/ I had to use a Scoot Fruit too so that I could save because this dungeon is literally just maddening .

I'll say that any Water/Ice temple in the LoZ series always stumped me one way or another.
My first time playing Ocarina of Time i got stuck in the water temple for 7 hours straight. xD

I had trouble in the Fire Temple and the Skull woods. The Fire Temple was just a constant struggle of not getting burned and figuring out where to go. The platforms never seemed to last long enough >.< and for the Skull Woods, those stupid hands drove me nuts, not for their challenge but for constantly sending me to the beginning of the dungeon.

Yay! The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was the first Zelda game I played, so for me, this game is fantastic, I liked a lot the game. The story isn't the best but it's nice, the game is very similar to A Link to the Past and if you have played this game I think you should love LBW. The puzzles of this game are very easy and you can finish the game without a help from a walkthrough. Actually I love this game, it isn't the best game but is very nice to become a painting.

Meh. I bet A Link Between Worlds is a good game, but in the long run it's not my style. From what gameplay I've seen of the game, it looks somewhat rushed imo. The modern graphics on a game like that look pretty cool, I'll at least give it that. xD

I think you should try ALBW. It has a great story and a lot of neat collectables and mini games. It's a great game based off of a great old favorite. You should at least give it a shot. I'm pretty sure you'll like it in some way or another.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED A Link Between Worlds, but I've had 2 major problems with it:
-It was too easy imo. This may be because I've played many Zelda games before, and I really believe that you learn 'to think in a Zelda way' after playing a few Zelda games. Par example: when I see a crack, I immediately think 'BOOM!'. The difficulty level of Link's Awakening was perfect for a 2DZelda imo :3
-tooooo short ;-; I think it took me 20 hours, and I'm pretty slow because I wanna explore everything >_< I know that for a handheld game, 20 hours isn't that short, but I just wanted moooooore /)o(\

Apart from that, amazing game! That music, plottwist, graphics and gameplay, puuuurrfecto ^_^

It was awesome. Especially how the music changes with the progress. It was the first time I realized this fact in a Zelda-game and I loved it. The way dungeons were built with no new-room-loading-sequences but smooth floor-changing is very nice. I was surprised by the way they made the Item-gaining-system: I think of it as innovative and definitely fun. The wall-walking was totally fun, too. It deepend the game in a new way, offering a new dimension. I think this game is my favourite handheld-game besides Minish Cap~
