And im here to tell you the possibility of Link being dead in Majora's Mask.

Have you ever heard of a theory called : The Legend Of Zelda Majora's Mask Grief theory? Well if you don't i can tell you about it. First, Link falls into the tree and then Skull Kid transforms him to a Deku Scrub. Then Link arrives at Termina. In Termina there are five places where you can go : Clock town, Woodfall, Snowhead, Great Bay and Ikana Valley. And this bring's us to the theory. The theory has five emotions : Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance DABDA for short. All people who are going to die soon will be gone through all these emotions. First you go to Clock Town where anyone is denial, and besides there is a moon going to fall down and no one seems to care. Infact there planning a carnival, the people say that the falling moon is just a groundless theory. Then you go to Woodfall where the Deku Princess has been kidnapped and the king is just angry at a monkey... U MAD BRO?!?! Yes he is. But of course you save the princess and then comes the drama. And here is the nect part of the theory : Anger. Next you go to Snowhead where you meet a Goron called Darmani the Third who was a ghost. And Darmani is wanting Link to use his magic to bring him back, he's Bargaining. And when those Bargaining's fail he knows that there can't be a way back, there is no way back. Here comes the next stage of the theory Depression. And if you play the Song of Healing then you get the Goron Mask from him. The next place you go is Great Bay where you meet a Zora who's lost her eggs, she's a mother who has lost his most precious things. And finally you go to Ikana Valley where it's a place of death sure, but also a place of Acceptance. Like think about it there's the Sharp one of the two composer brother's who help's you on your quest. And you have the Stone Tower Temple which the main item is the Light Arrow. Link has travelled through the Ikana Valley and finished all four stages within them. There is also the Garo Master who even accepts his death on his own. Now that's deep... And the 3 day repeating cycle paralyses you from moving forward in your life. It all started when Link searched for Navi who flew away in Ocarina Of Time. Why searching for him in the woods? Well Link is a weird kid so idk. But what i think for beyond now is that Link's joutney in Termina is all about him accepting his death to move on.
Link from Majora's Mask in Twilight Princess?
Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess are connected as the Timeline say'd. And in Twilight Princess you meet a hero called Shade who actually is believed to be your character in Majora's Mask. How is this possible? Well in Majora's Mask there is the Happy Mask Salesman who says "Believe in your strengths...believe..." And that's exactlly what Shade says. All the songs Shade uses even comes from Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask. Shade is Left handed like Link and there are more possibility's.
Link accepting his Death
For my thought right now is that that Link's journey in Termina is for accepting his death and move on to the afterlife. All the characters in Termina are populated with people who Link has met before. There's Romani, Mr. Ingo, The Postman and much more. AND THIS IS THE STRONGEST PROOF OF THIS THEORY! What's the first thing that the Happy Mask Salesman says to you "You've met with a terrible fate haven't you?". When i played the game i obviously thought it would mean Link turning into a Deku Scrub. But that line repeats further on in the game... EVERY...TIME...YOU LET... THE MOON CRASH... Then you see the animation where Link is dying and then... You hear the Happy Mask Salesman's Laugh and then... You've met with a terrible fate haven't you? The terrible fate isn't Link turning into a scrub. Its Link dying.
Well Link became a Stalfos so we can't continue the theory anymore
