link players are annoying when i playing as ness because first they spam arrows until you take a certain amount of hits then they start throwing bombs and then at one point they try to rush attack you or smash attack you and there not ness can do about it unless
1 reflact link arrows with the baseball bat
2 psi mangant link bombs or
3 spam pk fire a bit then dont give them a change to get on stage
 
Links that camp like that, take advantage of the air against them. You can jump over all the arrows and bombs then pop up in front of him with forward air or an aerial PK Fire. Camping players aren't really hard to deal with. Since you already know how they're gonna play the rest of the match, punish accordingly.
 
Links are awesome and can easily beat a Ness, even without skill >.> Pk Fire is the best defense against it and the arrows are hard to dodge if aimed correctly, so you could spam Pk Fire to stop the volley. Camping isn't the best way to win, so you can be creative :sneaky:
 
Yeah :p A plenty lot of Link players like to spam a lot of arrows and bombs , but they can be easily avoided or dodged so as Ness , use PK Fire ( or spam :p ) to punish as well as with grabbing and other methods as you listed . it's easy to deal with camping as np said :p
 
I know they can be pibished but the ones I play angjisy are hackers and one pulled out a smash ball in one on one
 
I usually jump over to them, hit them with an Arial pk fire, side smash wile they're trapped, then initiate pk spam :D (pk spam= fire when close, thunder when far away)

Then u shouldn't be discouraged if u lose against them
If it's for glory then there's not much u can do but put up a good fight. I guess u could train against level 9 links and u have people here with useful comments.

As a Link player, nothing is worse than when I'm throwing out projectiles but my opponent is rushing at me anyway. Power shielding, roll-dodging, even just jumping over arrows and bombs throws off what a Link player is trying to do and that's keeping you at bay, for the moment. I'm sure you know Link's strength isn't his speed so most players will compensate by spamming his projectiles until you're punishable. You cannot allow a Link player to dictate the spacing for the whole match.

Link has a few good approaches like with fair, and bair and a few anti airs like up tilt and side special. Ness has shorter ranged moves and I think Link's Hyrulean shield blocks PK Fire when Link's motionless. A good Link can gimp Ness off the edge when he's resorting to his special recovery but I wouldn't recommend it because dair is a laggy move. A good Link can out space on the ground with arrows or jab/ftilt and a good enough down smash to cover roll. I want to say a good Link would win the matchup.

yeah, those links who likes to spam arrows can be quite noobish at times, but its not impossible to avoid. all you have to do is jump and get as close as you can with an aerial. make sure they don't punish you though. then you can either use pk fire or an aerial to stop him.

Link advantages: Link has great aerial attacks and his smash attacks are great! And dont forget his projectiles! BUT NESS is also soo good! Ness can easily get some great combos going on and can kill early. But at the end of the day its up to the tier list. Sadly link losses but like me i main him and play him godlike. I can beat anyone. With the right skill any character can beat any character

I feel like when you hate a character that you just vs. you would just post it in a thread. Like you did with my Bowser Jr. lol, can you just list all the characters you hate or something? I actually do hate those spammy links though. So I have to agree with you on this one, they are very annoying to play :)

well for ness being my main when I start the match I jump in the air trying to get behind link then grabing him and do the up trow then spam pk thunder. if they chatch you with the arrows you can do the pk thunder launch to deflect or try to shield when you have the chance and roll behind him to attack him to the best of you ability
