Little Mac joins Super Smash Bros as a playable character

Yep, Little Mac will be a playable character in the new Super Smash Bros. game. Tbh, this is the first time I've heard about Little Mac, heh. He's from a Nintendo game called "Punch-Out" (images).

The trailer isn't bad IMO. I can't wait to play as him in the new Super Smash Bros. game.

I was halfway expecting this. He just seems perfect for Smash. Although I really was expecting Diddy to be announced...

I know Punch-Out but I never really payed much attention to it to know the protagonist's name.

Yeah, it's available for Wii U for 200 coins. Great game.

I mainly loved Doc coaching him in the trailer, haha.

There a 3 Boxing stages: The Smash Bros. version for the Wii U version and the WVBA Boxing stage for both versions. Something tells me that Little Mac will have a taunt like Snake's in Super Smash Bros. Brawl except Doc Louis is doing all the talking.

Who didn't see this coming? He's bound to show up at some point. I'm glad he's in, however Capt. Falcon might retire.

You'd be surprised at how many people thought that he wouldn't get in, JUST because he's a boxer. A boxer, known for doing just punching...maybe even kicking, but no one seemed to be open minded enough to think of the different types of punches he could use...since there are a lot of options to work with.

I'm elated to see that he joined, he fitted into the roster perfectly. His moveset looks really cool, but he doesn't seem like the character you can just pick up in an instance to get a hang of it, since he's a non air-borne fighter, the trailer was awesome, I hope to see more videos of him later, he seems like a character most people would go with.

lol maybe when i get super smash bros for 3ds i cant wait to play all the playable characters there is to play and
this new character seems to be quite unique - and as @Reece said - he doesn't look like someone that you can just get the hang of playing him in an instant AND THAT MAKES IT FUN
