sakurai has showed today some interesting facts gathered from the hundreds of thousands of matches that have been played so far. To him Little Mac is the character with the worst win ratio in comparison to the others. This is what he said:
For Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the individual character win ratios lined up nicely in a staircase format, but [for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS] one fighter has a significantly low ratio. It’s Little Mac.
Even though the numbers say something I really like to play with Little mac, tell me below if you
like or dislike little mac, thanks.

I like little mac a lot, i use .. i think the 7th most of all the fighters. Also i think he is not that bad of a smasher his powers are so good one KO punch does KO the enemy/friend :p and his normal left/right B attack is awesome for dodging the only thing I think he is not very good at is recovery from falling. Other than that he is in my top 10 smashers.

The thing is that people dont know how to play with him

And that's the problem. So many people use Little Mac in For Glory because they think that they can win using him, despite the fact that they have no idea on how to use him. I always destroy Little Mac online because his recovery is so weak and the player just doesn't know how to attack me.

Little Mac is a skill based character. Especially against projectile users you really have to try hard to get the upper hand (Not only because of his short grab range but because his side special can be the death of him much like Ganondorf's). I like him for his speed and offense and his amount of options but he has noticeable limits. Did you see the Little Mac Gimp video? There's like 50 of them all of basically the same thing and it's awesome.

It's strange how some people say he is too OP ,and others say that he is bad.I think it's based on how you play with him. I was the same with Rosalina I thought she was the worst, but i really wanted to learn how to play with her. Now she's still my main. It depends if you like the character and want to learn how to master him.For instance-Little Mac is rally strong and fast but he' really bad in recovering, that's why you should learn how to counter attack. I've seen some really good plays with LM. He's just hard to master but I'm sure he isn't the worst of all.

Little Mac isn't the worst character in my opinion. He is considered the worst when it comes to statistics because of the noobs who chooses him without even knowing its weakness. If he wasn't used that much by noobs, then, he wouldn't be considered "the worst SSB4 character according to statistics". They are characters that are way worse than Little Mac.

I wouldnt consider him the worst... in the center of the stage that is! little mac is a complete powerhouse in the center of the stage, but when it comes to the edges of the stage or in the air "Hes just terrible" also, he is not OP, just really cheap as people only use him but im sure if they used any other character I would kick their ***

He's a really easy target once you know his moves. You just go to the side of the stage -> Grab -> Throw outside -> Hit him in the air and BOOM! He's done. And to get some damage out of him the only thing you have to do is keep him in the air, that's pretty much it.

so... would jigglypuff be able to keep him in the air?

Yeah, he would. I use Kirby and can easily keep him in the air. He becomes nothing more than a punching back.
Gotta watch out for those counters though.

Well... not really? Easier said then done I suppose. No way are you getting him off the stage by a throw without a fight though.

I've fought against a friend who used him, and he's actually pretty tough. Quick on his feet and swiftly executed moves makes for a worthy opponent. Don't be hatin' on him! :p
