Lived in college dorms/ apartments?

When you were in/ or going to college did you live on campus? how was it like?

I lived on campus and was very disgusted from what I had to deal with, custodians not cleaning the showers, bugs in the rooms, horrible bathrooms and my all time "favorite" {please note the sarcasm} somebody pooping on the water fountain nozzle.

I use to live in a dorm, but now I live in an apartment close to the school with a few friends because it's a lot cheaper.

I currently commute to and from school, but that's changing in August. I applied for the RA position and got it

No, I never lived on campus. I currently live in a sharehouse with a bunch of other University/College students, though, which is kinda similar
