What do you guys think of Lucas,Roy,Ryu coming to smash bros as DLC? I really want to know what you think. If it's worth buying

I bought Lucas only at the moment. Lucas is pretty fun and exciting to use. His grabs are amazing because of its range and pwer, plus can combo into lots of things. Another thing about Lucas is that his aerials are amazing, probably one of the best air games among the cast.

I think they're nice additions, though I wish they'd been included in the game from the moment it launched.

Although they aren't too expensive if purchased independently, the cost of DLC can really add up if you're planning to purchase more than a couple of fighters. I mained Lucas in Brawl –and while I'm happy he wasn't completely cut from SSB4 – having to pay an extra several dollars to have him on my 3DS and WiiU is a bit disappointing.

The worst part about having DLC in SSB4 is that some of the content feels almost vital to the experience – take my case, for example, where a game without Lucas changes the entire feel. For those of us who want to play / on new stages / as new characters / to win new trophies, it's plenty discouraging when what you want in DLC totals approximately what you paid for the game.

I think that all three characters are worth buying , considering how unique each of them are , especially Ryu , just thinking of all them combos that you can do Lucas is really amazing in his combos and Roy is also great . I kinda agree with Lexi about the DLC but still it's great to have DLC than none

Every new character is worth buying. Lucas and Roy bring back the memories players had back in older games, and now they don't have to find their copies of older versions just to see their old favorites, plus they can play them with all the new features Smash 4 offers. Ryu is a great new addition, the first original character added as DLC, and brings a whole new look to Smash Bros. They're worth every cent.

I have a feeling that these characters are worth it. I mean, I haven't bought any DLC yet, but I know Lucas is a good character since I used him back at Brawl. Roy was a crowd favorite and Ryu is a great character for Street Fighter fans. He is also a great character for combos since he has so many. To top it off, he has 2 final smashes.

All the DLC appears to be awesome. They are all pretty original characters (even Lucas who is imo the better "clone" of Ness) and they have their own little gimmicks much like the games they've been in, Roy deals more damage close to the hilt of his sword (so he's a "melee" fighter haha), Ryu has a fighting style based on his series with special button combos and can break shields easily with enough pressure (his perfect shields even make different sounds like ones from DBZ), and Lucas is the fastest of the bunch who is like Ness but with different technical properties and in general more useful moves that are easier to hit and he has excellent alt skins referencing his game. imo my favorite character is Lucas. That doesn't mean you shouldn't get a few cheap Mii outfits or excellent competitive stages but the fighters are where it's at and you can play those DLC stages with people who have the DLC even if you don't get it.

I really want to buy the Dlc but my mother thought it was a waste of money which is a stone cold bummer, but I will buy them someday.
Just think about Ryu's combos and so much potential in him. Also, Roy and Lucas are going to be my mains as well.

This goes the same way with my mom. LOL And yeah all of the DLC are worth buying brcause there are soo fun and will bring back the memories of melee and street fighter and dont forget the amazing and unique stages that you can and will get if you get ryu. Plus the kirby stage is really cool. I would really recommend getting the DLC but hey it depends on you and how you feel on it.
