There's something about Japanese players in this game that makes you want to pair up with them all the time. Most of them know how to work as a true team in ScareScraper, and if you're just as good, you'll be of a big help. Heck, I once played with Japanese people and cleared a 25F ScareScraper Hunter Mode in a mere 28 minutes (Although, it could have been quicker if one of them didn't leave early on.)

Maybe those players tend to be more focused. They're not doing anything spectacular. Americans and Europeans can be just as good but I often see players getting selfish with the number of ghosts they defeat. They leave teammates trapped in the carpet while they gain points.

The more you play, the more familiar you are with the different floors so that might also be a factor. The Nintendo 3DS is huge in Japan so this might the case.

It's all about your attitude, focus, and hard work. These might be attributes that Japanese players have more so than other players. :)
