Macbook?

Would anyone reccomend a macbook? I don't like apple at all, so I won't be buying it from them if I do get one. The reason I want a macbook is because I have heard from a lot of people that they are better for media work (like photoshop and video editing). That's mainly what I want a new computer for, so a macbook seems like a good choice. Should I get one, or a windows laptop?

Mac is worse than Windows IMO. You have to get adapters for EVERYTHING, and Apple constantly bugs you to buy into their ecosystem. Plus Windows has much more support for apps, (Steam is bleak on Mac) PLUS there's no VR support other than the HTC Vive (mainly because of poor specs, and SteamVR is soon going to drop support for it). Overall, wouldn't get it, wouldn't recommend it.
