majoras mask will have a small download size

That's actually pretty unsurprising for me! :D
Nintendo has always been famous for keeping games like these compressed, it saves the downloader some time as well as server space for Nintendo. If you have noticed, CoD Ghosts on the Wii U has a smaller file size than the PS4/Xbox counterparts. I will most likely be picking it up digitally then.
 
I'm cool with that, smaller size means more space for more games! And probably faster download too, I can't wait to get...just need to continue saving coins...
 
Oh that's a relief! Not much memory just means more games will fit on my SD card! I was worried I would not have enough room, but now, I have nothing to worry about anymore. I do have a small shadow of doubt inside of me though, wondering whether this means the game won't be as good, or smaller, since less memory is being used. Hopefully it will be good though, so I'll just keep my expectations high! ;)
 
I'm not really surprised; it's a prettied-up N64 game, and those always have titchy file sizes. Ocarina of Time 3D's download size is smaller than this, too, at 455 MB. :cat:
 
I never thought of that, but I doubt Nintendo will do Zelda wrong. It's too big of a franchise and loads of people love Majora's Mask. So it should be okay ;)

Interesting. I wonder if that means there will be more loading time for certain areas or not. Hopefully not.

That's pretty good, seeming as the game is pretty 'big' in general. This will put a smile on those who wish to download it!

I think they might have a lot of space because nintendo has a reason of making cartridges because the downloads will take a lot of space on your 3ds,(other reason is people don't wanna pay credit card or Skylanders and disney infinity) so taking lots of space on 3ds means you won't be able to downlaod as much games then you will need to buy an expensive sd card. So cartridges will save a lot of money.

Cool most games I have seen have bigger download sizes so I might be getting this game if I ever get e-shop credit.I would never expect a game like Majora's Mask to have to download so little space though well the less the better for my SD card.

As far as I'm aware, loading time has little to do with the file size itself. Zelda isn't really known for having issues with loading time, so that's probably the least of our concerns.

I was probably going to end up buying mm3d . It makes me happy to see that there will be more space for games. That's still surprising for me, because the graphics are all shiny and 3d and stuff. But like someone had said, (don't feel like quoting :p) Nintendo is sure good at compressing file sizes. :)

This is good news for people who plan to get the game digitally. Although, in essence, it is a N64 game, which are known to have small file sizes. Goes to show that size isn't everything!

wow thats great because im running out of space on my 8 gig sd csrd ............ only have about 20000 blocks left but the only problem is that the super smash bros is a whopping 17000 blocks !!!!!!!! Wow...:dead: I better find some stuff to delete because I really NEED that game :cry::cry::cry:

What? Is the space for Majora's Mask really that small? Heh. Now I am changing my mind about buying a physical copy than downloading it because I thought that it would just take up to much space. Well that means that I can download more games from eshop to my heart's content and also not having to swap cartridges whenever I want to play another game.(always found that annoying)
