I bet there are a lot of manga that do not have an anime yet.

If you read a lot of manga, I'm sure you'll likely come over some. What are some of your favorites that you think should get an anime?

Junji Ito (no, that anime doesn't count, hush) - any of his stories. However Adult Swim are taking on an adaptation of Uzumaki, so we'll see how that turns out I guess.

(Rabbit) Doubt - good horror manga, pretty much just a version of Werewolf/Town of Salem which turned IRL

Hazureta Minna no Atama no Neji - Apparently one of the best horror mangas out there, but it's never been localised to English so my hopes are either an anime adaption to come out for it, or fan translation.... or I learn Japanese faster...

Yotsuba to! - Slice of life comedy about a 5 yr old going about her days in the world. It's pretty good, and does kinda surprise me that this hasn't been turned into an anime yet. Also if you look this manga up.. Yes... Yotsuba is the "4chan mascot".

Vagabond - This is another surprising one. It's Seinen done correctly. It's won awards, sold well over 80 million copies and is very highly rated. Just.. no anime for it.

I feel like it's only a matter of time due to its popularity online, but I'd love to see an adaptation of Komi Can't Communicate.

Yotsuba manga is also incredibly hilarious, and would be amazing to see, but the mangaka himself has even gone out of his way to say he *really* doesn't feel like it would work good in anime-format. I disagree, but, ya know. Haha.

Right now I hope Solo Leveling gets an anime! Definitely has the potential especially with the great art style, if they're able to keep it similar and animate it, it would look amazing!

Kiniro Mosaic needs more anime. There are still a couple of volumes/chapters not yet animated. (I'm really liking its manga and anime rn!)

I agree with Nafinator, Solo Leveling NEEDS an anime adaptation. That manwha is more lit than anything I've read recently.

Another Manga I love is one called SHY. It's about a world where each country has a resident superhero, following along the life of Japan's hero, SHY. It has both amazing action and solid character development, and a neat cast of heroes that play with country stereotypes while also showing off the author's creative ideas. I personally love Spirits (Russia's hero) most; peak character design and development right there. It's high intensity enough to be a hype anime along the lines of BnHA and KnY. It's about 40? chapters right now though, so maybe after a little more story is written I could see a studio picking it up.

On a different note, I'd totally watch an anime adaptation of Shikimori-San (This Girl is Not Just Cute!) I have no idea how it'd be adapted, but this is one of my favorite romance manga of late. It's just plain cute, and Shikimori is a QUEEN ! An ICON ! Not to be a weeb, but she's definitely Best Girl.
