I'm kinda torn.... I'm reading the Dragon Ball Z manga and it's constantly tension with slight relief as others have ALOT of filler(So far I got to Read Soul Eater and Some Bleach and both have some filler that doesn't have ANTHING to do with the story) I hate to say it because it's mean and unfair but is there anything else that stays with the it's original story or idea?

I guess Deathnote, Anagle Mole, and Hajime no Ippo have very little as far as filler goes.

Beyond that, many older series lack filler at all.

Maybe I'll read more older Manga...I love reading story without stopping to see what side characters are doing, that don't push the story progress

I think Fullmetal Alchemist has little fillers and Death Note doesn't have any fillers though it will stress you out. Season of Attack on Titan doesn't have fillers just death...lots of death:sorry:. Season two isn't out yet but the manga is far ahead.

I know Naruto is swimming in fillers (don't get me wrong I loved the manga/ anime but seriously!?)

I started hating it when I found out there was filler seasons!!!!!(I liked Naruto at first, until I saw that...) I'll try to find the Attack On Titan Manga instead of the anime then. After I finish Dragon Ball Z manga(another manga with NO fillers, even the dialogue has no fillers: everything only explains things you might be wondering at the time!) I want to read Full Metal Alchemist also,I loved the anime and I think I slept over the fillers, it was on toonami when I watched, and aired at 3:00 AM so I missed some episodes... I heard of Death Note and saw a little bit, I'm planning on Akame Ga Kill too but I have no time to watch it...

You should read Akira.

Akira? What's it about? (I'm reading One piece now, only around the Water7 through Enies lobby part now...)

Akira. Its a manga written by Katsushiro Otomo. It was written in 1982 and ended in 1990. The setting is Neo-Toyko, a dystopian, post apocalyptic city, thirty years after World War 3. The main is Kaneda as he tries to stop his psychic powered friend, Tetsuo.

Oh.... I think I remember Toonami showing a movie named Akira now....I might watch now, back then I didn't care so I never watched it.I only saw the commercials for it...

No. You can watch the movie. Its good, but its not a good adaptation of the manga. Read the original manga, its way cooler than the movie.

Oooooooh I will, especially since you seem excited more so for the manga.I didn't even know it there was a manga version of it
(or any anime movie....I thought every movie was filler to make money)

Because the manga is superior and has the complete story. The movie is good in its own ways for revolutionizing anime movies for its time.

In some cases, fillers are what I look forward to, but not all anime. I think Detective Conan doesn't have any filler since there are cases every episode :D

If you are comparing between anime and manga, then I think Yowamushi Pedal didn't add any "more" fillers, more like cutting them :/
Also, I think the new Hunter X Hunter exactly follows the manga

I'm trying to like fillers but....I remember waiting for weeks to see a anime episode(when we DIDN'T have any way to watch as much as we wanted) and we literary waited for days just to see another filler....I hated while watching Toonami and (I'm ashamed of how long I waited....)pokemon!!!...I'm so glad I found manga! Fillers should be done as anime movies: shown separately from the writers original idea, then you know your watching your favorite characters playing and goofing off :D
Instead of being in a important fight then(I'm still mad at these for doing this) Cutting to a episode with ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the story.Bleach AND One Piece!
