The game has been really underpopulated lately, especially in Windia and I can't find anyone who wants to join my guild and maybe help get it active again. I had someone friend me and join my guild the other day...and not even a day later, they unfriended me and left my guild. Now they're in another. I can understand people wanting to be in an active guild and alliance, but how is it possible for the inactive ones to become active if everyone leaves lol? Oh well. Shout out to any Maplers here who still play! :chicken:

If anyone happens to play and are in Windia, I am Casua~

I played it for a bit three years ago and it was cute, but my laptop was so crummy that every game ran in slow-motion. So I quit. But I might give it another shot now that you've reminded me of it :writing:

Aw wow that sucks. I've been keeping up with it this whole time. Sad to say, the population...especially in my server, is dead. Having more friends would be nice though and none of mine get on much because of work, not feeling like it, having errors trying to get on. A friend is currently considering quitting and I'm even more sad about it. Everyone is leaving, but I'm gonna stay on up until it shuts down, if it ever does. I really hope it doesn't for a long time though. It's so hard to make friends there now, as everyone are high leveled godly people who do nothing but sell, get rich, and brag about their power. I wish I could make Maple genuine again somehow.

Haha that's good I think. Yay~ xD

How do you play it? I looked for it ever since I got a tablet, but all I found was viruses. Is it free?!

It is played via PC. Its an MMORPG, and yes it is free. There is a cash shop and all that, but you CAN play without spending a dime. I just spend for fun really. On top of that, you can buy cash outfits and such from other players for the ingame currencies and there are other things you can get during hottimes and all that, that really help. It is indeed playable through free means. I'm so far in, that the hottimes are now mostly useless to me, but I still get them for fun I guess. xP

SO many characters, so many storylines that intertwine into the bigger story of Maple. There's actually a lot there to be enjoyed. wish more people would and could enjoy it though.

Nexon, net is where you'd wanna go for it. They have their own launcher now, even though I still always use Maple's game launcher. And there's also a version through Steam, but I don't go on the Steam one so not sure how that one works. There is also a mobile game, that's like a mini version of it on mobile, but I prefer the actual MMO.

Nexon in general has that and another called Mabinogi I play. Both are pretty good and have their own unique features. But to me, in my opinion, MapleStory is THE best MMO I've ever played, for several distinct reasons.

Alright, I'll look for it today: does Nixon require you to sign up before using the site?

Of course, it's free though. :)

:sorry:Alright, I HAVE found it but... I need to clear up space before I can download it.

I'll tell you when I finish I'm on the game! :D

I've had a similar situation on D&D for Wii U. As soon as I started, I wanted to try it online. (I first thought I had problems, but it turned out that nobody was playing it. Not even my brother would play it.) I tried friending people via MV but there were so little people. (And the friends I friended to play D&D were hardly on.) Eventually, I gave up on the whole thing.

(I probably should've observed how much attention the game was getting before I jumped in with both feet...)

Ah wow I wanna play D&D tabletop AND online sometime lol. Well MapleStory has been around for more than 11 years now, but is celebrating it's 11th year in Global at the moment. I'm so sad at how the population dropped. It's still my favorite MMO and one of my favorite games. I've had such a unique experience with it.

I recommend it to everyone who might have interest in it. I wanna see it flourishing again.

Yeah, I remember back when it was maybe a few gigs and now it's huge, from all of the updates. Just means there's a lot of content to work with. xD

Cool though! I'm over in Windia, but I'm on and off atm.

Well actually... This D&D was D&D Chronicles of Mystara from Capcom. Which was a Beatem' up style with RPG elements.

Oh I see. I've never heard of that one then. xD But it sounds interesting.

i can finally play again after so long, but really i haven't been in the mood for it. it'll be one of those games that i might play once in a blue moon. even with the much more manageable population of scania, there's still way too many events and it's a bit overwhelming. i really would like to play more, but i should really save mmos and other huge games like that for when (if) i ever finish my current games. that being said, my motivation for games is usually non-existent unless it's my day off, and then its usually ruined by chores. >>
