So I was thinking about this and before you say something crazy if you read the thumbnail than think for a few seconds than look back If you think its not a great idea so here how the story begin link get all three trivforce but Gabon stop it and it caused a portal in Mario and link world but link and Mario have a epic fight but than while there fighting ganon and browser meet and become a almost unstoppable force so link and Mario have to get idems from each other world upper grade each other idem and try to get idem to beat ganon and browser

...I'm sorry if I offend you in any way, but this sounds...terrible. First off, you combined something that is not even logical (somehow a portal appeared) and mario and link fight for no reason, which has a lack of details. The gameplay ideas are O.K, but the story needs loads of work. It sound's unpolished, just proving a point here.

Sorry I give out the details out later I just wanted to make it so people won't get bored because of how long it is

Improving the grammer would be a good start of improvement :D

Here is my version of your game plot:

Link had found all three triforce pieces, but ganon stopped link and it was messing with the power inside of the pieces. Link went in some unstoppable red force that looked something like a portal. When link and mario think that they are enemies or the henchmen of the evil ganon and bowser. While fighting, ganon and bowser meet and become a almost unstoppable, crazy force. So link and mario have to get items from their home lands. Upgrade each other's items and try to get the special items and the triforce to beat ganon and bowser from taking over a kingdom and the entire land of hyrule.

EDIT: "hat" changed to had. And 'triforce" to "triforce pieces."
EDIT: Some other edits.

I could also see the plot having minor changes like including the triforce and what exactly did ganon stop.

Overall I would drop the story and not do a crossover because really sometimes making stories like those are hard to write and make seem good. Mario games usally don't have a plot line or just a simple plot (save the princess), so making an story/game would take some minor edits and simplizied story. Just some writing tips :)

I think it would be pretty cool but it might not it would depend on how nintendo makes the game but let's hope they do make it good if it ever happens but I don't see it happening but then again nintendo is unpredictable on what they will make etc. but I mean they kinda did it in a way with the MK8 DLC with link as a playable character.

Trust me, nintendo never makes games that sound just a little too much like a fanfiction

Well that already happened a little bit. In LoZ: Link's Awakening there is some platforming SMB style with plenty of enemies that appear to be the same as some Mario enemies (Chain Chomps, Goombas, Piranha Plants, maybe more?) and a Super Mario 64 poster is in OoT. Of course there are plenty of other references but I think the target audience would be as great if it were a crossover imo. The two series don't mesh very well as one is a puzzle adventure game and the other is a platformer. If Nintendo ran out of ideas then maybe this would happen but even still I would then consider Nintendo desperate for not trying to make something creative or original.

It would be interesting, I'm not a massive Zelda fan, but I'm aware of what the franchise is. It would be quite interesting to say the least, ganon and bowser joining forces is something I'd like to see. And you could choose either Mario or Link and save the princesses, or maybe just one

That sounds a bit interesting since I like the Mario and Zelda franchises. I guess both characters will join up as if it were an RPG. I guess each character will have a specific function such as you need Mario to jump over gaps and Link to solve puzzles. I actually like thw concept of the crossover.
