Mario Kart Mario Kart 9 or Super Racing Bros.?

Simple question after the DLC thing for Mario Kart 8, as you maybe know, there's a big change the next generation of Nintendo will be a hybrid console (there're actually official sources about its planning), so there should be just one Mario Kart in the generation instead of two.

Would you like a Mario Kart 9 including a new feature or a Super Racing Bros. (or better name) including different Nintendo characters, maybe also adding a F-Zero like mode to the formula?

If you like the cross-over idea, what characters would you like to see?

Another console?! I couldn't afford it! And I received my Wii U barely a year ago. What a scary thought! Although you are right. Can't have a Nintendo generation without a Mario Kart!

Using numbers after Mario Kart may get repetitive after a while, but they usually rename the game only when they make a BIG leap to a hugely advanced console (MK 64, MK Wii) or if the game contains a unique way of karting (Double Dash). Should they make it normal to have non-Mario characters added to the karting roster, there may be a lesser and lesser reason to call it "Mario Kart".

An F-Zero mode? NOW you're talking! Maybe that should be implanted in a 200cc race. Speed, speed, and more speed (Maybe even bigger tracks too to make a longer lasting effect)!

It's difficult for Nintendo to mess up on a Mario Kart game, so I'm open-armed to anyone joining the kart fray!

Don't worry, next generation should be in around four or five years

They can also work with SEGA for an arcade mode (you know, they made F-Zero GX)

I would want to see sonic in this fabled "crossover" karting game. He wouldn't even have a vehicle he could have different shoes that were both astetic and gameplay changing. He would just run around the track insteax of being in a lame vehicle.

It'll have to be MK9 like the Mario Party games made by the same people. There will just be DLC since the Mario Universe already has a huge roster that hasn't been filled recently. MK64 bosses could be characters or King Boo and regular Boo could be playable. If they are really running out of Mario character ideas there'll be Metal Yoshi or Rosalina or heck the whole cast in metal.

If I have to be honest, I would like a Mario Kart with F-Zero speed and Sonic All Stars design, the tracks changes all the time and the speed feels GREAT. And keep Sonic on a kart, he would be OP instead.

There's no reason to get out of ideas, I think they're just lazy and want to use popular characters.
They're many other characters they can use, and not just from the Mario universe, also from DK and Yoshi ones.

Lol, I would like to see those characters you mentioned have a baby form. A pointless idea, but it would be cute to see them as babies.

I would actually imagine Sakurai taking helm on a racing game like this. And trust me, I would love to see something that is the closest to an F-Zero game as possible, and no I'm not talking about the F-Zero attraction in Nintendo Land.

I think Super Racing Bros is already happening with the MK8 DLC. I doubt that this is all the DLC we will get.

Hmmm, not sure exactly what nintendo will do next for mario kart... (interesting name your suggesting although) i'm sure its going to be a hybrid of some way shape or form. Myself, I'd like to see some more zelda characters and maybe even some kirby characters would be cool!
