Hopefully much more than the original! I'm praying they bring back Birdo. Birdo was my favorite! Hoping that they don't release MK9 so soon, although it seems entirely possible. I've already purchased the DLC bundles, and I don't think my karting heart could take the awesomeness that they may deliver. How they can get much better than Mario Kart 8 is what I would like to know!

Could be alot of new things in MK9, hopefully starting with the terrible name to be changedlike seriously nintendo, start getting creative! I'm not sure how many characters will make an appearance in MK9 actually... hopefully some from other games (Like more zelda and kirby!!)
Yeah, your all right !I would actually like a better use for the Gamepad on Mario Kart 8 (if there's retro compatibility on the next Nintendo's system).
I would like more cups, or at least a newer difficulty/speed

I recommend EVERYONE reads this. If you agree give it a nice big like! Maybe reply to it? Heck, quote it if you have to! But lets not keep waiting. Finally, here is my amazing list of ALL (I really mean it) the MAIN things I want to see in MARIO-KART 9! This will be my biggest post...
1. More Upgrades
Even though there was a good amount of unlockables on Mariokart 8, there still need to be more. First of all Add more things you can actually upgrade. For instance, instead of just your glider, tires, or kart, make it so you can change the water rotor when you go under water. Maybe you can add different exhausts to your kart. Could you put in a whale tail?
Next things you can upgrade is the design on your kart. Make it so you can add stickers or sponsors to your kart. Maybe you can create your own stickers or sponsors. Again adding on with the colors, it would be AMAZING if you could color your kart with the game pad and stylus. Imagine being able to rotate it with your stylus or being able to make stripes with a variety of drawing tools Nintendo would have to offer.
Finally, I think you should be able to create your own kart! Now lets think here people, imagine being able to save different designs and build, test, and share them. You could be able to share them on Mii Verse or perhaps they can add somewhere on the game you can save and share them.

OK, lets admit it, almost all of us want some sort of track editor installed on the game. Now, I'm not saying it has to be some fancy program like the one they used to actually make the game but something basic. Make it so you can move the tracks around or at least change the scenery.
