Mario kart ballot?

Everybody knows about the crazy smash ballot that's going on in the smash bros community but what if
Mario kart got one? everybody has a Mario kart character they want in and the MK Ballot will be the place to get your character into the game (DLC of course.....) to be honest I would love to play as sonic in Mario kart it would be fun seeing the plumber and blue blur racing to the finish line!

If Nintendo established a ballot for Mario Kart 8 (or MKNX ) I would submit my vote in a heartbeat. My vote would have to go to Nabbit. Like Shy Guys, he is a mysterious and mischievous character. I can simply imagine Nabbit's ears flowing through the wind as he's driving a kart. xP

It does sound like an awesome concept,and I'm sure it would be a lot more balanced than what weird requests are going towards Sakurai to put as fighters in Smash.
Professor E.Gadd and Plessie would be my main bets.

You know , Now that I really think of it , a Mario Kart ballot would be pretty awesome , since people could vote for characters that they really want to have in the game . Plus there's so many Mario characters to choose from as well o: ( and of course some guy is gonna vote for Shrek xD )

Mario Kart ballot would be a great idea. I would pick Nabbit or Kamek because they have great references to the mario games. I think they would both make a great addition to the Mario Kart games.

It's possible, with all the clone Mario and Peach characters and DLC already. There's a plethora of Mario characters to choose from and there could even be retro stages of Mario Kart GP and/or use characters from the Arcade Kart games like Pac Man (although there are a few clones like Ice Luigi). Or you could jump to using characters from other games in the DK or Wario series.

I think that a mario kart ballot would be cool to have. I would vote for captain falcon because they have dlc tracks of f zero and in the game they also have an f zero kart. Why not add him? I do not think that I would vote for anyone else. But I also think that Nintendo is skipping captain falcon on purpose. They are also not making any new games based off of f zero.

Mario kart ballot, I want it so much! I want to play as nabbit so much, he was an interesting character in the mario u game. Sakuri must add this thing, I would vote him so many times that the ballot vote scores would break. Seriously, I would pay DLC just to get this mysterious character! EEEEEEEEEEEEEE

If it actually does happen, I would try to vote for either Fox or Captain Falcon, since both of them would be excellent racers. Also, I have seen Captain Falcon's Blue Falcon in Mario Kart 8, so he may have a good chance.

Definitely. The Smash Ballot tis supposed to be used to see which video game character they want to see in Smash. The character has to originate from video games, not just at least have one. So that means we're sure as heck not going to see Shrek, not that Sakurai (or Nintendo. Whoever's doing this. Idc.) is even going to give them him. But of course, there has been people asking for Freddy Fazbear (no, really) and with how big FNaF's been... yeah. Regarding the OP, I don't really have an opinion. I do not own MK8 so I can't say if I want to see one. If people want it, that's them. I'm staying neutral.
