Mario Maker Mario Maker: AC HDD amiibo cards compatible?

I just came across this on nintendo's website:

What do you think they will unlock? Do you think they will do the same as the Amiibo Festival amiibos? Or they will be considered different and will unlock different content?

I guess that the amiibo cards will just unlock the Mario Maker costumes, like the rest of the Amiibos do. I came to this conclusion since you can unlock Isabelle or Digby as a costume in Mario Maker, and Isabelle was shown in the official website of Mario Maker.

Yes but only for series 1 there are 100 cards, will there be 100 costumes for series 1 alone?
