Mario Maker Mario Maker for 3DS?

The game "Mario Maker" is coming out September 11, 2015, and looks like one of the best Mario games EVER. When I watched the trailer, I died of excitement, until I saw at the end "Only on Wii U." ...which I dont have. Please, please Nintendo. I beg of you to release this on the Nintendo 3DS. Does anyone know if there is the slightest chance of this coming out on the 3DS? :(
 
I doubt it'll come out to the 3DS. First, the servers will most likely be overloaded like that one Splatoon demo when it comes out, and that's just on the Wii U. Adding the 3DS would definitely take down the entire server, and the eShop. Second, Nintendo still needs to sell more Wii Us. As of right now, they are half a million away from selling 10 million Wii Us. It's the lowest sales number out of all of Nintendo's consoles. The closest I can imagine a 3DS playing Super Mario Maker is if the NX is confirmed to play 3DS and Wii U games.

Me too, being a great game that has so much epic potential why not put it on handheld? I can get this game for my wii u, but I wish it was on 3ds as well. But thanks to the fact nintendo has a issue with wii u only games, it probally wont come out for the little handheld that nintendo was asking us to buy only 3 years ago..

Hopefully this is going to be a thing if Nintendo wants to make money off of a game that works like something you could download for free on your PC Lunar something or whatever with a few ROMs and graphic RIPs from Mario Fan Games Galaxy. And imagine if you could bring this over to your PC for sharing. And this would also give more excuses for 3DS only owners to buy Amiibo.

Nope. I do not think that mario maker will be coming on the wii u. Most of the games on the wii u never get made into a 3ds game. If it did come out on a 3ds, I would definately get the game. Also I do not think that the 3ds would be able to process mario maker. There needs to be much more 3ds games. There is not a lot of new games coming out for 3ds.
 
If it did it would be as advanced as the Wii U one is. Just have the DS Mario levels instead of all the ones that the wiiu has.
 
It would be cool if Mario Maker came out on 3ds like Super Smash Bros., although I doubt Nintendo will ever do such a thing. I think the Wii U needs some games to make it stand up from the competition, but I also have the feeling that Nintendo will eventually release it on the 3ds, like Hyrule Warriors.
 
I wish it would have 3DS version the game looks like so much fun and I hoped to play it.

I love the idea of making your own levels and sharing them.
