I found that 200 cc (I can't believe I'm saying this) was a little bit too slow. I haven't played all the tracks with it yet, because my bro shut the Wii U off when he couldn't control it, but the ones I played were less exciting than 150 cc. But, I know for a fact that I'm missing out on something. What's the best track for 200 cc?/What are some awesome shortcuts for 200 cc?

I think it's really fast. I keep drifting off the stage because it's so hard to control >.<

I personally love the Animal Crossing stage. It's so pretty and colorful.

200cc may be considered slow for a drag race, but not for most the tracks in MK8. You may think it's slow because you're not able to reach full speed before getting to a tight turn in a lot of the tracks. Plus, it's very easy to fall off the road, which makes it difficult to collect 10 coins for max speed. You could have the fastest kart combo in the game and not be able to go fast enough for a long period of time. :p

I've noticed that with 200cc, it's possible to use the shortcut through the waterfall in Yoshi Circuit without the aid of any mushrooms. It's not too difficult to pull off; just need enough speed.

Really??? :p I thought it really fast for me but maybe its cause I haven't practiced a lot or as much as you xD I am usually 15th place and I consider that good due to the fact that I have only played for maybe 5 hours in life I believe... maybe xP

The best track for 200cc would be Baby Park. :p But if you haven't purchased any DLC for it, then you're missing something awesome for 200cc. It really gets to my nerves that you need to brake every now and then, tho. :sorry:

Hmm too slow ? I just can't wait for 400cc then ! :p I think that it is already pretty fast and it makes it really hard to stay focused on the stage and not fall off the stage , it is now a lot more funner than 150cc :playful: so I think that 200cc is pretty fast enough :p or too fast to some >.<

I like the 200cc update for it and I agree that it is good on baby park but I just cant wait until 250cc, then 300cc, then 350cc... One drawback though is I think ot makes karts/bikes that focus on acceleration and handling overpowered because they will also have good speed and wont have to break as often as the all out speed ones.

200cc is very hard and fast. i like how fast the tracks go and how you can drift fast in the 200cc. Also i like to have a challenge in videogames. I really like the 200cc in the update. its awesome.

My goodness, 200 CC is very fast. I don't know what you are saying, 200 cc is not slow, but maaaybe on some stages. I'd recommend mount mario or shy guy falls. I personally think that these you can blaze very quickly through, and the challange is great as well. Also baby park is pretty good for the speed to be honest.

Oh my goodness, that update for Mario Kart 8 was so hard and difficult to get use to. Like a star-powered Bowser hurtling downhill, Mario Kart 8's new 200cc speed is both a thrilling spectacle and dangerous joyride. Using the power-ups can be a good thing and bad thing. Depending what item you get and used will determine if the speed will be too much for you like mushroom, super star, etc.
