Gen 6 Mechanics we want to see in future games

In this thread we will post old or new mechanics that should be in the future games, as well as some changes to the current mechanics too! Unlike other threads I made, this here is not to promote discussion, but to list the changes that should be made in the main series of the games. Additionally, don't post exaggerated things, this is a serious thread!

First off, an old one I really want to see again are the Seals/Ball Capsules! They were pretty interesting and I really don't know why they removed it. It's not like someone is going to start using swear words with them!:p (that's the actual reason they were removed:mad:)
Next up. I want the old Vs. Recorder back! I really liked how there was a ranking, "top replays" and stuff like that. It was much better than what we get now, just battle video recording and simulating battles!
Some others I want to make a return are the Wi-Fi Plaza and the Underground! Wi-fi Plaza was pretty entertaining and had lots to offer. Also, now with the advances made in the technology the systems incorporate, most limitations would be lifted and it would feel more like an MMO, which would be good. Now all we get is seeing the icons of people online and just Battle/Trade/Game Chat. It's kinda boring. What if you could once again run around and interact with other players with your own character or play minigames with them? As for the Underground, I understand that it mostly fits Sinnoh, but it would be great to have in all games!
Another great mechanism that seems to have been forgotten is the rebattle system! I would love to be able to do remaches with the Gym Leader and some other key characters!
Finally, from old mechanics, I want the Battle Frontier back! Battle Maison is the WORST battling facility EVER! It's really boring, the AI is incredibly retarded and the battles are all repetitive! I can't stand it! At least just bring Battle Factory back for nice change of pace!

Moving on, there are a few existing mechanics I want changed. I'll start with the most annoying, the PSS! Just having Local Connections as a default, meaning it disconnects you from the internet when it loads, and having to reconnect every time seems that it wasn't enough! The game forces you to leave your Wi-Fi on to even do something as simple as use an O-Power, watch the HoloCaster announcements (even though no internet is actually required) or change your PSS settings! I want there to be an option to change the default connection from Local to Internet, because I have NEVER had to use Local even once, while I use the Internet one all the time! Also, when the Wi-Fi is turned off, it should still allow O-Powers and some other things to be used, not block the entire thing!
Next up, the GTS, the freaking GTS! Nintendo why can't you just put a simple summary screen on the Pokemon up there? Do you really expect people to NOT lie when the most others can see is a 1-line description by the owner? It's incredibly annoying, especially when trying to get rare Hidden Abilities! Also, I understand that it may be a bit hard, but, for the love of god, make it impossible to request unobtainable Pokemon! I get it guy, you have a Shiny Legendary, but I sincerely couldn't care less! Don't be a show off! No one cares, but everyone is annoyed when they try to look for a Pokemon and they can't trade for it! How can you allow others to ask for Lv.<10 Arceus or other similar cases?
The last of the changes I want made is the DexNav! We lost the PokeRadar for the DexNav in the Hoenn remakes, but along with it we also lost the ability to chain! Sure, you needed a chain of 40 to get a decent chance to get a shiny, but the DexNav has a constant chance that equals a chain of 37, making it about 8-9 times less likely to get a shiny!

Now it's time for some new mechanics. Unfortunately, I only have one for the time being, but one that would be the most fun. ACTUALLY riding you Pokemon in the overworld, not just one or two areas in the game! Forget the bike or running shoes, simply get on your Arcanine and sprint through the region! That would be awesome!

Finally, two notes. One, the character customization should be a permanent feature, not a recurring one. It's really nice to have the ability to make yourself stand out from the rest! Two, Nintendo, stop making local events! Just make international ones! It's like the entire company just favors people from a specific country!

What are the mechanics YOU want to see in the future games? It can be new, old or a variation of an existing one. Once again, DON'T post exaggerations!
 
For the old mechanics:
  • I'd like to see the PokéGear or at least some version. I like how those you recorded could find items for you, challenge you with stronger Pokémon, and even have a rematch with the Gym Leaders.
  • The GB Sounds which can change even the new music to an 8-bit version.
  • The Berry Pot so you can grow Berries on the go, rather than having to stop at a separate place to do so.
  • Joint Plaza, as I believe it's originally called. I loved how there were multiple facilities that suited needs such as Pokémon Training and friendship-building. And with the 3DS family using internet, other owners can come via Street/Spotpass. Those who own the game can be hired. Half the money spent on their facilities can go towards their game to give it a job feel as well as give them a boost if they need it for important items and etc.
  • Mother Bank. If you ever needed some money put away for later use, you could always give her some and she would occasionally get an item for you.
For new mechanics:
  • Clothing Maker. Like in MySims Agents, you can eventually make your own clothing in the clothes store. So in some similar fashions you can make different types of clothes using a number of options.
That's all I have.

Just some quick notes here and there. Instead of PokeGear we have PokeNavi, which is the same. It just needs to be enhanced like it was back in Emerald. The radio function of the PokeGear certainly was nice though. Not exactly GB Sounds, just a 8-bit audio version of the regular music would be better and wouldn't require the game to be a remake of an GB game. Berry Pot wouldn't really make much of a difference, but ok. I take it you mean Join Avenue, not plaza. Anyway, most functions have already become useless, still, it could be nice, but only if there is a area in the region to fit it in. Mother Bank is a great idea, but it needs to remove the cap or raise it a bit! Just being able to save 999.999 there, while you can carry 9.999.999 would make it obsolete. Finally, this is Pokemon we are talking about, not some dress-up game or a sim, but a RPG. Let's not confuse the genres here.


I just remembered another thing I want to make a return, the Trainer Hill! It was fun how we did speedruns back in the day and it would be a nice change of pace compared to the Battle Maison.

First i want to ask you, how long it take you to type this ?

Things that i want to see in future are -
First of all i really want pokethaleon back i really use to enjoy it and use to spent hours playing it . I also want those poke capsule and those amazing seals back they give really awesome look .

Hopefully they will bring the ball capsules back in the Sinnoh remake, since that was when they started it. and I am also very annoyed with the GTS for obvious reasons. And yeah, they should have more international events.
 
I wanna see Missingno come back :p
