Meeting people on forums

Have you ever become good friends with people you have met on a forum and then ended up meeting them?

I've never met anyone as I really wasn't a fan of meeting people irl from the internet.

I had met someone I was good friends with from another forum and needless to say, he was quite different from how he said he'd be in real life. Not a fantastic experience. But certainly, if I become good friends with someone on a forum, I'd love the opportunity to meet the person sometime.

No I've never met anyone online before, but I do have a couple good friends that I know online, that given the opportunity to I'd meet them.

Nope. But I did have friends IRL who joined a forum I made... I remember when I was like 9 or 10 though, and me and my friends had our own little forum (it was like 5 of us) about Nintendo and nobody else joined, but we loved it. xD

I have never talked to someone online face-to-face in real life, but just recently I've started talking with an online friend via phone calls. I know that she's actually a bit younger than me (by about 2 to 2 1/2 years), but eh, we're both fine with that.

Not trying to offend you guys here, but meeting someone your friends with on the internet in real life doesn't always end well, there have been cases of people getting kidnapped and even raped when meeting someone they met on the internet, we get warned about this all the time at school. So meeting someone you met on the internet is dangerous,I'm just making you guys aware of that.

I have to say i met alot of people online everyday it's not strange because we are living in a vast world where it's easy to find alot of persons.

I've become friends with a number of people, I haven't met any of them though. I would love to meet them, especially if they are not that far from me.
