has anyone ever met that online megaman spammer where they just throw spikes and bombs and tyen start hacking and they shoot a freeze bomb at you than spike you and than start acting like he the greatest thing sence sliced bread
 
I never fought a Mega man online yet, though I have my own way of handling the spammer. If they start getting heavy on projectiles, the art of perfect shield becomes a beautiful thing. Then they'll eventually give in and start to go after you, that's your chance to fight back.

I don't think I've ever seen a MEGAMAN player online. Like ever. It's weird, but I guess since he has a different playstyle from the other fighters, he's not that popular. I mean, I feel like the only way you really COULD play Megaman was if you were spamming, since that's what a majority of his moves entail.
 
I've never ever really seen anyone spam Mega Man much when I see them online , which isn't even much . Sure , he can spam many projectiles like the Metal Blade and that bomb thing , but it can easily be dodged or countered followed up with a punish :p
 
I've never dealt with Megaman, but if someone's spamming, use someone with a reflecting special, especially fox, since his reflector can be held forever, until it takes too much damage
 
I faced one Mega Man before in For Glory and Olimar had a great match up. Yellow Pikmin ate his forward Smash and jabs while they were latched on to him and I used aerials to avoid any other unsafe projectiles. It's really how the beholder uses him though, Mega Man takes some skill to use in regards to spacing and being aware of reflecting moves. Ness would have a great match up as well.
 
Mega man is like Snake but without that raw power. Just remember that you can spot dodge or reflect back all him projectiles. He will give up eventually and start attacking you.That's when you punish the heck out of him.
Mega man isn't a good close up fighter so as long as he doesn't rely on his spammable projectiles, he is a WEAKLING.
 
Maybe just once ive played a nooby megaman all he did was throw his specials it was the most annoying thing ever but luckily i main link. Whos shield can block all his projectiles it was hilarious I was just stang there and he threw all his specials and kept usin his f smash. I just stood there i was hiarious

I have played against a Mega Man before in For Glory. I main Mega Man myself. The Mega Man user must have been a beginner since he wasn't reall used to his moveset. All hw would do is to move around will tapping the A button all the time. I felt bad winning him, I may have made him give up on Smash.

Don't be afraid to trade of one of your attack oppurtunities to land a Mega-upper! (up-tilt) so satisfying to get a kill with it :hungry:
