God. I hated that level. So. Much. And I really wanted to get into the Acid games, but I couldn't. If I were you, if you wanna get caught up to the story of mgsv, a the very least, watch the Peace Walker cutscenes online.Cloud said:The acid games were actually quiet fun both of them, i played Peace walker in 2012 so i dont exactly remember which ending i got and frankly i have forgotten most of the story too, one thing i remember is that there was a horrible button mashing event in the game (when you were being captured and tortured) which was so difficult that it made me almost never complete the game.
nah i started a new run of Peace walker again so that i could brush the rust off my stealth skills before getting ground zeroes in preparation of phantom pain dont know if ill make it in time though with school starting soon.God. i will just play the both of them and then phantom pain.
yeah i kinda realized that when i played splinter cell, in peace walker the enemies gave me a lot of time after being spotted and their pathing was pretty easy to predict too, there were several easy spots to lie down in to avoid detection, other games were not so generous.Peace Walker was one of the easiest Metal Gear Games in regards to Stealth, and Phantom Pain/Ground Zeroes are much more realistic. So prepare yourself.

What a coincidence! I was just listening to Peace Walker's final boss theme.
My biggest concern for the upcoming game is that because Keifer's clearly being paid by the line, I'm worried that they'll drastically reduce the amount of time Snake spends talking. While MGSV seems to retain the series' trademark goofiness, the really fun parts came from codec and radio shenanigans. I'm worried that support team conversations won't be as much of a treat this time around.
On the bright side, it looks like this game has something to do with the formation of FOXHOUND. They're still one of my favorite villain teams after all this time, so I'm pretty excited to see what V has in store.
I'm really excited about it. The single player looks like a positive step forward for the series. The graphics and game play look great! The one thing I'm worried about is multiplayer. I hope the multiplayer is well done and not rushed. I know not everyone is into metal gear's multiplayer, but I actually enjoyed MGS4 multiplayer a lot. I also hope they don't try too hard to please casual players. In my experience, the average Metal Gear fan is not just a casual gamer.
Free. . . FREE?! WHAT?! I SPENT $40 ON THAT CRAP BEFORE THE PRICE DROP TO $30!I just downloaded Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zero available for free on Xbox One. The game looks good.
Yeah, it's available for free on Xbox Live Games with Gold promotion for this month.Free. . . FREE?! WHAT?! I SPENT $40 ON THAT s**t BEFORE THE PRICE DROP TO $30!
Oh. Well, that explains it. I am not a big fan of Xbox Live. PSN is cheaper. And I would recommend at least playing "Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker" first. And maybe even "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater"(which takes place before Peace Walker), as both take place before Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain.Yeah, it's available for free on Xbox Live Games with Gold promotion for this month.
