Metro Redux is coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 28th, 2020.

Metro Redux includes:
  • Metro 2033
  • Metro: Last Light
The games will have their two campaigns and all of their DLC. You'll be able to purchase the game physically on a 16 GB game card and you will not be required to download any additional content. That means the DLC will be included in the game card.

You can watch the trailer below:

What do you think? Are you excited for these games to be bundled up in one for the Switch?

I’ve not tried playing an FPS on the switch; every game I’ve played feels like the controls are slow (though I haven’t played tons of games on the Switch). Do these types of games work well on this console?

Having played Wolfenstein 2 - I would say yes and no. This is coming from someone who almost exclusively plays in handheld mode, but I did enjoy my time with the game. The controls do feel a bit tight at times, though. I had the same issue with the Vita and Killzone, but that was much more profound. I didn’t have nearly as much trouble on Switch, but at times I felt like I needed a standard controller and the big screen.

OP: Ah, so it’s finally confirmed. Coming really soon, too. I remember hearing about this a while back but I don’t think we had official confirmation. I’m excited to give it a go on the console. The Switch actually causes me to try games I otherwise wouldn’t give a chance on other consoles. Not sure why that is. Maybe it’s the handheld nature and not being glued to a TV in the T-Rex position. I did always have interest in Metro and played it just a tad, I just never fully got into it but I’m like that with a lot of games the first time. Sometimes it takes me multiple times to really get into a game.
