Personally to me, it think the wii u version looks more like the Movie version
Mewtwo-Best-Performance.jpg

And the 3ds version looks like themelee version

This is the video showing Mewtwo's announcement :

As the video said, he's for owners of both copies of smash

he also isnt ready until spring 2015. Im loving the idea of him coming back

This is him from Melee

His moves then were
Shadow ball
Confusion
Teleport
Disable

Here are his normal moves
Normal
  • Neutral Attack - Mewtwo reaches its arm out, blasting out a bit of shadow energy. Mewtwo will then blast out a stream of shadow energy. The blasts are somewhat awkward to combo with. 6% damage, then 2% or 1% randomly.
  • Forward Tilt - Mewtwo flicks its tail forward. Quick, decent range. 10% damage.
  • Up Tilt - Mewtwo flips upward, hitting with its tail. 5%-10% damage, depending on where it hits.
  • Down Tilt - Mewtwo spins around, sweeping its tail low. 9% damage.
  • Dash Attack - Mewtwo holds its arms out while sliding, inflicting damage with shadow energy. 9% when it comes out, 6% during the rest of the attack.
Smash
  • Forward Smash - Mewtwo shoves forward, releasing a pulse of shadow. Similar to Mario's Forward Smash in that it is most powerful the farther away the enemy is. Fairly good range and damage. The close-up non-sweet spotted hit does 12% uncharged, 16% fully. Sweet spot does a stronger 20% uncharged, 27% fully.
  • Up Smash - Mewtwo holds its palm up, releasing a storm of shadow energy that hits multiple times. 15% uncharged, 20% fully charged if all strikes connect.
  • Down Smash - Mewtwo hits downward with shadow energy. Good knockback, though moderate range. Only Down Smash in the game to hit only on one side. 15% uncharged, 20% fully.
Other
  • Ledge Attack - Mewtwo flips onto the stage, using its tail to attack. 8% damage.
  • 100% Ledge Attack - Mewtwo telekinetically walks on the side of the stage, then suddenly jumps on the stage and swipes with a claw. 10% damage.
  • Floor Attack - Mewtwo telekinetically gets itself up and spins around with its tail extended. 5%-7% damage, depending on how close the enemy is.
Aerial Attacks
  • Neutral Aerial - Mewtwo releases a long lasting shock out of its body. Good damage if the entire attack hits, good for annoying the opponent. 3-20% damage depending on the number of hits.
  • Forward Aerial - Mewtwo slashes forward with shadow energy. High vertical knockback, useful for combos, juggling, and KOs, but mediocre range.
  • Back Aerial - Mewtwo hits behind itself with its tail. 14% damage.
  • Up Aerial - Mewtwo flips upward, hitting with its tail. Good juggling move. 13% damage.
  • Down Aerial - Mewtwo flips backward and hits with its foot downward. Can Meteor Smash. 16% damage.
Throws
  • Pummel - Mewtwo electrocutes the opponent in its grasp. 3% damage.
  • Forward Throw - Mewtwo throws its foe diagonally forward and shoots with multiple small Shadow Balls. If done near a wall or overhang, can double damage. 9% damage.
  • Back Throw - Mewtwo uses Psychic to throw its enemy backward powerfully. One of the strongest Back Throws in the game. 11% damage.
  • Down Throw - Mewtwo throws its enemy down and hits with its tail. Can be used to chaingrab, albeit only on the fastest fallers and the largest characters. Can hit a nearby foe as well. 11% damage.
  • Up Throw - Mewtwo uses Psychic to throw its foe upward, spinning around it. Strongest Up Throw in the game, and one of Mewtwo's better KO moves. 12% damage.

Here is his color scheme

Now based on Charizards Final Smash, he will most likely be in Y form so they dont have 2 X final smashes

In addition, his b up (teleport) probably will not change

What do think?

Me too, it's just that I am concerned after the ineffectiveness of him in Melee, but hopefully Nintendo has learned from it and will make him a real force to be reckoned with, just like in the Pokémon games!

Seriously, with his Sp. Atk. stat in Pokémon games, he just one hit KOs most things right away, he is -truly- dreadfully powerful. I hope they will effectively represent his great dark power this time around~

I just kinda wish Nintendo would allow people to download him, whether they have both versions or not. Other than that, I'm glad they decided to put him back into the game. What do you think his Final Smash will be?

Mega evolution

In my opinion they are both the same character model only one is slightly degraded to fit the 3DS screen and they both have different shadings. I can't wait to see if he has a skin like my Mewtwo avi/Project M, but most likely they won't (unless the hitbox is big enough so it won't matter). This trult should be a make or break situation as far as the reception might go after Mewtwo comes next Spring.

Mega Mewtwo X, because it is a fighting game, I don't think Mega Mewtwo Y would make as much sense... Positive it will be Mega Evolution though, at any rate. :3

Bummer having to wait several months to be able to use him though, even when I'll have gotten both Smash 3DS and Smash Wii U on their launch days. @_@

it really sucks that Mewtwo will only be available to those who purchase both the wii u and the 3ds versions

I'm immensely happy for Mewtwo, but, at the same time there are some doubts. Nintendo needs to make it so that Mewtwo is tougher than in Melee. In the actual Pokemon games, he is a deadly force to be reckoned with. In Melee however, meh. Also, they've got to make it available to those who don't have both versions, as a paid (but not very expensive) DLC on the eShop. If Nintendo does a good job though (hopefully), then I think this will turn out great!

So the great Mewtwo is confirmed for Super Smash Bros, well tha is good he definitely deserved it and I think he will be a great character in the game. This makes me want SSB even more. His moves are good and he will be an excellent player and I am happy that mewtwo is in the game.He is a dangerous character in smash so watch out!

Well Mewtwo was un-proportionate in Melee with an overly big head but currently it looks to be the actual size. And you're right, Mewtwo from the anime does have similar "ears" as he does currently in the models.

I really missed mewtwo but I am pretty happy that he comes back into smash 4. You were late mewtwo lol, and he better be stronger than he was in melee so he can fit better in this era. welcome back mewtwo! Oh we all missed you dearly and I shall make sure that I main you my friend.

I never got a chance to ever play Melee and using characters from that game still counts as playing Melee for me. I never got to see how Mewtwo was in Melle amd I guess he was really strong since all of his moves were ment to kill in Smash 4. Must be a pretty OP tier in Melee.

Speaking of op Mewtwo was 20th in the tier list. Low tier he was. I really thought he would be too tier in that game but he is in this game and I hope he would evolve his tactics. I really wanna main Mewtwo so badly.

But his weak points was visible in Melee, like he was heavier than he was in 4 but he was still light which was a bummer.Mewtwo has ko potential in his grabs but it isn't as powerful enough. But Mewtwo in 4 is pretty powerful than in Melee which is a breath of fresh air.
