As everyone already knows,Mewtwo's coming back as DLC later next year.And only those who have both versions of Smash Bros. will be able to get him for free on both games.As for us who don't? Break out your wallets. XD I guess it's depending on the price,huh? Anyhoo,on Melee,Mewtwo was really fun to use! :D Grabbing people,and throwing them skyward was a favorite of mine. ^^ I'm really looking forward to seeing how he turned out,and what new abilities he'll have.Or will it be the same?? Hard to tell,but it'll be awesome!
 
I´ll buy him as soon as I´ve got a Wii U and Smash Bros Wii U.
I don´t think it´s worth it on the 3ds version.
But I hope he will be a good fighter and not something like what they did with samus in brawl
Also some more unlockable fighters as DLC would be great
 
I agree,DLC chara would be,and I can't express this enough,a VERY good idea! If Mewtwo could be,why not someone else,right?
 
Here are changes I want, might be long.....
1. Mewtwo was floaty and light weighted, make him less floaty and a middle weight.
2. Overall higher attack power and range.
3. Increased grabbing rang and stronger throws
4. Mega Mewtwo Y as final smash were he has double strength, speed, and jump. Can't flinch during mega and Shadow Ball is at full strength. Hold down jump to float through the air only lasts 15 seconds though.
5. Increased speed making him a little faster then Kirby.
6. Confusion can be aimed to hit higher or lower opponents, and reflecting lower and higher projectiles.
7. Disable has increased range.
8. Teleport can warp through platforms.
That's my wish list for Mewtwo

Hope I get SSB for 3ds soon so that I get mewtwo to play with,the demo was a blast.DLC for mewtwo isn't hard to get though when your on 3ds pedia though.I wonder how mewtwo moves will be like and his super smash.Plus his different clours.Shiny mewtwo!

They're probably going to change up Mewtwo entirely judging by how much time we have to wait for him.

I'm expecting him to go up to middle-class weight, and probably faster than he was back in Melee. They really are trying to make this game balance, and he was pretty awful originally. Maybe they'll release a patch update with him too..?

mewtwo is very beast in melee I just don't how cool he is going to be
 
Sakurai said there wont be paid dlc so my theory is that for those who have both games we get mewtwo earlier than those who don't have both versions. Also I don't think they are changing him completely cause let's face it melee is an old game so they can't just copy paste things in. They have to completely re code everything
 
Wait,we won't have to pay,just wait longer for Mewtwo's DLC,the one's who don't have both versions I mean? How long???

From what I've heard, Sakurai has no plans right now on releasing Mewtwo to anyone other than the people who get both games, but he is thinking about having Mewtwo be paid DLC in the future.

If that's the case, I'm gonna assume everybody can get Mewtwo by buying him in November of next year.

I guess I was totally out from this info, thanks to you I know about it now. I already own the ssbb 3ds version and I am probably getting the wii u version too. Does anyone know when the dlc will be out for us to get it? And how will they knwo if we have the two versions of the game?

You have to register both versions at club nintendo, and it releases Spring 2015

I can't wait for Mewtwo to come out as a character. In smash bros cuz I've always wondered if he was ever going to be a character now my wonder has become the truth now I hope I'm good with Mewtwo and beat my foes on level 9 as cpus cuz when I wondered if Mewtwo was going to be a fighter I hoped he'd have great combos with him. But I know he will have great combos. I will master them and control them. Too destroy all level 9 cpus and also enemies online. So watch out guys cuz I'm back from the dead

I'm pretty interested to see how Mewtwo will play(I never got to play Melee.Please don't hate me for this ),and I'm basically just here waiting until Spring 2015 to pick up the codes and register 'em at eShop.Well,the Wii U version at least,since my SSB do 3DS copy is from Europe,and the PIN code I used was from another person who got the game,so I'll hold it for a future giveaway.Anyways,I'm excited to play as the legendary physic Pokemon,and I do hope Nintendo releases him for everyone who couldn't get him from CN afterwards.

I'm really excited to see how mewtwo turns out. I've only played with him in melee and he was a pretty fun character. I think that nintendo will implement some sort of a cross buy feature like in the new mario and browser tipping stars so if you buy his dlc in 3ds you will also get it in wii u for free

@P2.0 , did you not play Brawl? Mewtwo was in Brawl for Wii. Mewtwo might have moves that are similar to Lucarios: I can see a "anticipation" move (as a counter) and the aura spheres...And we both know how not having Mewtwo turns out....bidding up to what, 370 on warbird's auction? I think it's up to 390 now...
