MH4U - Choosing beginner armor

Sup all!

So I just started MH4U, and I'm at still in the beginning stages. I would like to purchase / forge some new armor and would like to know how to go about purchasing the correct one, as to not make stupid purchases.

I quite like working with the sword and shield for now, so would like to stick with that.

Which is a decent enough beginner armor to buy and upgrade from the word go.

There are like 10 posts of this, just make whatever you want, most people in early game don't care what armor you have. I personally used Nerscylla armor in early game

Just make sure that you get a full set and don't switch armor pieces until you have to full set.

So figured I'd rather stick to a set, so the grind is real, just kinda struggling to find the pieces, but upgrading my weapon is quite fun Thanks for the replies peeps
