What happened with Mii fighters? and why do a lot of people hate them? I know that they only have 3 move sets and 3 unique special moves. I think the downfall with them is that these cant be used online, only if you are playing with friends which is bad. Whats your opinion?

I'm all for the Mii fighters. In fact, i think it is terrible that it isn't allowed for global gameplay. It would be great seeing your opponent's surprise when your fighter has a diverse move set :D Another bonus is that you can customize them into any person you like.

I personally think that if they got any hate, it was because of rage over impossible characters like Naruto joining Smash :p

I guess they are all mad because Mewtwo/Ridley/Insert Character who isn't in SSB4 here didn't make it to SSB4, and because they got the Miis instead. It's not a bad thing to have the Miis available in SSB4, since they have three different movesets. And I think they are forbidden online due to privacy reasons (but I guess some cheaters will hack into the game to find a way to use them online. It's almost sure).

I don't mind the miis being there but personally I can't see myself using them. A large part of the appeal is using characters like pit and link.
It really sucks though that custom movesets and builds can't be used online. That would have made online battling way more interesting

I think they're alright. I would only probably use them one or twice (they don't really appeal to me) and then use other characters. I like the idea behind them though. The way you can customize them. That was a nice touch! ;)

Mii's don't really belong in the universes of other games. They look silly, cartoonish, and people would rather make other fictional characters out of them rather than themselves. They should really be their own universe rather than others. The best part about them though, is their potential and customization features. I wouldn't want them to be in any other way because you cannot balance a customizable Mii that well with so many different variables to pay attention to. Being in Friends Only matches is how they should be (shaming you Retro Studios for doing otherwise in MK7). 3 classes x 12 specials = 36 separate characters (not counting the size of the Mii).

I definitely don't hate them. But I also think I won't use them much at all really. I want to use actually Nintendo characters, not miis... Still I can see how someone could really like them
