Minecraft isn't going to be staying on the Wii U,

Nintendo and Mojang are working on bringing the building game to the Nintendo Switch :

The critically acclaimed Minecraft comes to the Nintendo Switch system. Create your very own game world to explore, build and conquer. No release date has been revealed as of yet.

What are some of the things you're looking forward to in this version of the game?

I hope there's more mashup packs like the Mario one, specifically fire emblem or pokemon. That would be really neat, and build up (no pun intended) to the content already in the Wii U one. I hope this version doesn't crash as easily because for some reason MC Wii U caused my console to freeze one time.

This piece of news actually didn´t impress me. I mean, minecraft is a game that is almost in every single electronic device out in the market. I am still wondering if there is a Smart TV minecraft versión in the making!!
Personally, I am not into minecraft at all, but I know many Friends who would die to play it on the go. So the switch just seems to be the perfect place to do it!
