MIYAMOTO No longer attending Japan Expo in Paris due to familial reasons

Famed Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto will no longer be able to attend the Japan Expo in Paris next month due to personal reasons. Announced last week, Miyamoto was set to attend the expo to celebrate its 15th anniversary in order to host a master class, but due to health related reasons concerning his father, he shall be unable to do so. Nintendo of France’s official Twitter account relayedthe following information in their above tweet, which translates as such:

“We regret to announce that Mr. Miyamoto will not be present at Japan Expo for personal reasons related to the health of his father.”

That is sad, I hope his father gets better soon.

I hope his father get well soon, sad for the people who paid the places to go to the Japan Expo only to see him, but it's normal to worry more about its family. This is excusable, at least.
