For those of you that don't know, DLC is releasing today (or tomorrow, depending on your time zone) March 6th. Just a heads up. (I'll post later about what they released today)

What you get in the first FREE DLC MH4U pack :
  • 14 new quests;
  • 11 new weapons;
  • 4 complete armor sets (8 if you count Blademaster AND Gunner) plus the 3 Fan Club pieces;
  • 2 Palico armor sets;
  • 1 Palico weapon;
  • 1 Bonus Palico: Calico Red;
  • 2 Guild Card backgrounds;
  • 1 Guild Card pose;
  • 9 Guild Card titles;
  • 1000 Caravan Points;

Is it a free DLC? I am looking forward to your update. I should check that myself as well :p

And yay! Anyway, just a reminder for everyone, get your Palico a Mario/Luigi set :cat: though I love Nerscylla set's design a lot more.
 
Yes, it is free DLC. There was talk about microtransactions, but that was for stuff like the starter pack, it would just be an easy way of getting some items. I'm thinking that they'll follow the way they did MH3U DLC and release a couple of things weekly.
 
Just seen the trailer for it, legend of Zelda inspired. You get a link costume and alternate skins for some of the weapons, looks good. Hopefully I get it tomorrow for my birth day.
 
that was fast, was expecting it to come in a couple more months. Dont have the game but really wish i had it now:cry:
 
I have a question regarding the DLC. Do you know if it's a limited time thing? By that I mean will it always be available of it will be available just in March? It might affect when I'll get the game =/
 
It will be available as long as the servers stay up. So, no worries, buy the game and enjoy!;)

I just hope they stick to their "new dlc every first friday" plan. Free stuff is always nice. :cat:

I don't think I can download it yet. I got the game yesterday and I am still on the tutorial quests so it won't let me.

I think it is not worth it. You only get weapons or points which in my opinion, sucks. If it is free, then fine but paying for weapons is kinda not affordable. If it adds more gameplay or extends story length, I personally will then buy it.
