The most gruesome death I have ever had in any Zelda game that I played is in Zelda : Ocarina of Time 3d where it was my first time playing and when I reached the Royal Family Tomb that's when I saw it . Those ugly Redeads that just me being in there just felt so scared and when they screem that is the most horrible part . I just didn't know what to do . The thing latched on me and I died . only because I didn't know that you were supposed to press A alot but I pressed B . I still get the scares going into that horrid place

Mine is also a sort of comedic one, in skyward sword to enter one of the boss rooms you have to get a huge boulder to chase you. I as I was still thinking about the Indiana Jones reference, it caught up with me right at the end of the track, hit me and took all my hearts .Maybe not a gruesome death, but still admirable.

The dragon boss had a gruesome death. So did the giant fish in Twilight Princess, but it wasn't as epic. But Ganondorf might have the most painful death. You either stick the Master Sword through his skull or do the Ending Blow from Twilight Princess. When you perform this to Ganondorf in the final fight, his reaction is extremely accurate as he slowly bleeds out. Still satisfying though

Death by fishing rodThe dragon boss had a gruesome death. So did the giant fish in Twilight Princess, but it wasn't as epic. But Ganondorf might have the most painful death. I personally feel that Sakon's death in Majora's Mask is the most gruesome. While most of the bosses have cause to be killed for the misfortune and suffering that they inflict, Sakon is just a lowly thief trying to get on by with whatever he can steal. While people like that are no good and should be punished, this...
... is just disproportionate punishment for the poor guy. While it is just an optional thing you can do, it's still the very first time Link was able to kill someone human-like (Considering they're Terminian) in the franchise and it feels un-heroic of his character.

Wow I didn't no you can do that, It because I got the bomb mask really early in the game before I even get the fire arrow. Do you get the bomb mask still? What was the old lady's reaction. I think the most gruesome death was the graveyard boss cause there's blood everywhere and this boss spills purple. You only need the normal arrows, the Hookshot or even bombs that explode near the bag to do it. I believe she does not give you the Blast Mask as a result but I'm not sure myself. And her reaction is musing to herself about how you'd think it wouldn't happen to an old lady, learns her lesson and then expresses disappointment that she could've finally been able to stock bomb bags at her shop.

I think the most gruesome death can only come from one of the most notorious Zelda fiends, one so dastardly evil that Link has died countless of times to it. Only the cuccoos can be responsible for the most gruesome death of the hero of time, these 'birds' can't be killed with anything and attack viciously.

Chickens and pigs definitely hate on Link more than once my siblings attacked them on my profile just to see my fairies fly away before major dungeons -.-. Though the most violent kill like did, was Wind Waker's Ganadorf fight. The most cartoonish version of link stabs Ganon in the head with the sword and then his body was left behind in the remains of Hyrule castle as it filled up with water along with the King (who stayed with Ganadorf's body should it come back like it did so many times before).

The most gruesome death that i got in the Zelda series is getting hit while being on fire, trapped with the redeads and fallen into the pit along with a redead trying to eat my head and when i was done falling, link died and somehow he jumped, i was laughing at the part where he jumped when he was dead and yet i died at the same time. (i died by laughing too much) (i'm not ganon)
