SSB for Wii U Most hated controller ?

Yes, so you can tell me which controller you do hate the most (and the one you absolutely want to throw at your screen )

For my part, it's the GamePad. It's disgusting, the ZL and ZR buttons are made for shielding, and when left untouched or when you play Smash Odyssey (meaning that you'll have to deal with the sucky controls), it's just a nightmare. No, worse, it's pain wrapped in an insult.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a purist of the controller or something, but I simply hate the default GamePad controls, and the fact that you can't change them in Smash Odyssey makes it even worse.

Yes, I know, that's what I have done, but Smash Odyssey doesn't even care about them and just give me back the horrible controls.

Wii Remote, simply because using a D-pad for a game like SSB just doesn't work.

I would say the Bongo Drums. I mean come on, all you get is an A button and a B button probably. As for a more serious control probably any of the Wiimote ones but the plain Wiimote because it's a simple NES style design but with a B button on the back to use like an R button. And I might even say the Gamepad because it might be unnaturally big.

I hate the Wii Mote because it has an Odd shape to play super smash bros and i feel like playing with the Gamecube controller is more comfortable to play with but has an outrageous price to play the same game and plus, the Gamecube controller was only made for super Smash Bros and no other game so i don't see a point on buying it so i really like the pro controller since it feels better

I I tried playing with the wii mote, this is the exact timeline ofhow long it took me to stop:
0:00 picked up the wiimote
0:02yelled several profanities, and proceeded to slam (at the time) my only wiimote into the wall, breaking it

What is Smash Odyssey? I have changed the controls on the gamepad, so Im good now.
EDIT- Never mind, Smash Tour. To change your controls, choose your Mii and press Y to select your name before you start. That way you can have your custom controls set during the entirety of Smash Odyssey

But ugh that wii mote, messed up controls hard to shield and it's just unusable.

WiiMote earns the spot really easily for me.. That thing just felt really awkward in your hands, no jump button, no c-stick - just not meant for a game like Smash Bros.

Wiimote. Extremely awkward controls, which I've hardly ever even bothered to use, because Smash is not a game that works with the Wiimote's d-pad. With the Nunchuk, it's fine though, and solves the d-pad problem.

I hate Wiimote for a few reasons.
1. No smash button
2. (from what I remember) no taunt button
3. (also from what I remember) no grabs or clunky grabs
I fell they could have done better with it. But why hate the Gamepad? It's not that bad. I usually use it's screen, I feel it's big style fits me but I guess that's just my opinion.
