Exactly what the title says. This thread is for talking about obscure sonic games.
I'm going to say the most obscure sonic game I've ever played was sonic the sketchhog. It was part of the sonic 20th anniversary app (IOS). The app was only available around sonic's 20th anniversary, and then was removed. It was basically an infinite runner with sonic. And it looked like it was drawn by a five year old. I also feel like none of my friends knew what sonic rivals was.

That doesn't sound very bad compared to the terrible GBC Bootleg Sonic game. Then again your game is more of a flash game since it is a runner. Is it an official game made by Sega?

I suppose the most obscure game would be Sonic 06...
Mostly for its end (don't make me remember it please) :p

I thought sonic unleashed was pretty weird. A hedgehog turning into a 'werehog'...I think Sega ran out of ideas! xD

The idea was just really random, imo. :p

Haven't you heard of Sonic Eraser, the second Sonic game ever?

I agree. Still, the day levels were awesome!
And night ones... sucked.

Sonic Unleashed's music (day, night, and hub) were all amazing and cultural. But the one thing that turned everyone off was the werehog aspect. I personally liked it. I would also say it was one of the most obscure sonic games. Sonic.EXE would probably be the least obscure lol.

It doesn't matter how bad a Sonic game is, it will have great music :p

About Sonic.EXE is just a fan game made with Game Maker, so that doesn't count at all :p

Sonic.exe is a creepypasta.
Sonic Eraser was made for the Sega Mega Net, which is only in Japan.
It had a very limited release, so none of you know about it.

The most obscure to me would be SegaSonic tthe Hedhehog that Japanese Arcade cabinet with Mighty, and Ray as playable characters nnext to Sonic. I wish it got a remake or at least a port for other devices, it'd make for a pretty fun analog stick only game or a fun touch screen based game on the 3DS wwhere you move on the bottom and watch at the top but it would probably be cheap on the eShop.
